Visited here for my sisters birthday before we had a night out. As we eat Italian regularly and visit Italy every year, we were eager to see what Veeno offered. It’s a great experience for those who have never ate cheese and meats on such a scale and we must say every element of the board was gorgeous. We went a little overboard as we LOVE this type of food and our waiter JOHN was attentive to our food needs. Cocktails are strong just like in Italy don’t expect sweet! It’s a great balance of Italian for the British palette. Fab see you again soon!
We had a fantastic evening at veeno. Lauren was brilliant with the wine tasting. She was knowledgeable, friendly and welcoming and made our evening even better. Great value for money, we would definitely come again. The only thing that could be improved is if there was the capability to tip with a card payment. We had no cash but really wanted to leave a tip and there didn't seem to be an option on the card payment. All in all though we had a great time and will definitely be coming back!
The food was great and once ordered came very promptly. Atmosphere and service on top! We’ve tried several positions from their menu. Disco cauliflower was absolutely AMAZING! The only disappointing thing was their fried chicken - nothing spectacular.
Birthday treat here, great food and service. 60% off veggie menus in January. Delicious food, some non veg options available. Disco cauliflower so tasty! Some dishes quite spicy, check what you order, we loved it.
My friend introduced me to the Liverpool branch and I’ve been obsessed ever since. In Manchester, every staff have been super friendly and the food quality has always been spot on. It’s one of my favourite restaurant that I don’t want to share with too many people!
If you go, please try the disco cauliflower!
My boyfriend took me for lunch during our weekend in Manchester, and honestly, the place exceeded expectations. The waitress, a delightful woman, added a personal touch. The food, though not overly generous in portions, boasted incredible flavors. Don't miss out on the roasted cauliflower and baklava cheesecake—they're a must! However, the overall experience lacked a bit of that authentic, homemade charm, signaling its chain status. The restaurant maintains impeccable cleanliness, and the stylish furniture could grace a magazine. Despite the subtle lack of authenticity, it was a thoroughly enjoyable meal.
visited on saturday evening, start to finish experience was amazing. our server was attentive and advised us on the menu and maray as a dining experience - we left happy and amazed. Dined completely vegan with a non vegan and felt each dish had been crafted perfectly with multiple flavour combinations all beautifully made. food came quick even during a busy time, thank you so much we will be back!
The menu is really wonderful. Nice twists and great flavours, we also really enjoyed the special menu cocktails. The staff are super friendly and the atmosphere is great too. The music is just the right volume (some places are so loud we can’t have a conversation! But here is just right!) also the lighting is really suitable too. We underestimated how big the portions were and over ate! No regrets though! We shall be back very soon
We arrived just as it opened. It was very quiet but within 20mins it was bustling. The food was so tasty and this was my first experience of Middle Eastern cuisine. I went with a friend and we chose 3 dishes each to share. I would definitely recommend. And look forward to booking again. The disco cauliflower was my favourite oh and the cauliflower Bharjis.
I always walk past this place but never make a visit as most of the menu is vegetarian but after they reintroduced the Sunday roast I decided to give it a try.
Was definitely worth the trip and would definitely go again, we got the falafel which was great and the roast dinner was amazing, it adds the core favourites of a Sunday roast but also adds a good touch from the spices which you would never expect from a regular Sunday dinner which makes it very unique. It was super enjoyable and the service was great also which surprised me as it was much better than I expected!
Great place fora lunch. Plenty of food and done to a great standard. We went all vegi plates and they were super. The cauliflower was a particular highlight. Service was also quick and very friendly.
Fantastic! A slice of Middle Eastern cuisine in Manchester. A night out with friends to this restaurant will be worth every penny.
The disco cauliflower is the review raving topic and hyped by the staff - probably because the revenue and mark up on cauliflower is a money maker. It was good but there were far better dishes in my opinion. Like the beautifully charred steak and the whipped goats cheese. The fluffy pitta and smooth hummus… everything was delicious. Also a great venue for carnivores and veggies alike, there is so much choice for all. Die hard meat eaters won’t even miss the minimal meat offering. There’s enough to choose from and keep everyone happy but the veggie options are so good you don’t miss meat at all.
The venue itself is clean, attractive and minimalistic. Staff will guide you through the menu unpretentiously and give you advice on where to get boozy after in the area if you aren’t familiar with your surroundings.
The bar is well stocked and offer an array of drinks as well as offering cocktail classics. Book here, you won’t be disappointed.
