Especially if you're traveling from abroad, this is a recommended place whenever you want to eat familiar food.

Ensure that you reach well before 1pm to avoid rush, especially on Friday's.

We had been dying to try this restaurant after walking past it a few times. We went on Friday night and it was amazing, the staff were so friendly and the fresh food was beautiful. There were lots of veggie/vegan options which was also great, including vegan parmesan.

Will definitely return, and will definitely recommend you to try it! It was lovely.

Julia's pasta making class was fantastic! Her expertise and enthusiasm made the experience enjoyable from start to finish. The hands-on approach was great, and the end result was delicious. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned cook, I highly recommend this class.

Great authentic Italian pasta speciality restaurant. Plain tables and chairs. Its just right for two, four, or multiple guests if you can get in. Book ahead. Only let down by the bus stop outside and its a slightly crusty area just off the northern quarter scene. Didn't stop customers calling in to collect packs of fresh pasta. Not a huge menu but good selection of drinks at honest prices. Splendid service for the team. We even had the Italian manager chatting with us making us feel welcome. See the specials board

Great authentic Italian pasta! We ordered aglio olio, the pasta with prawn (forget the exact name but it was SO GOOD!) and the lasagna which is the star of the show. The place has Italian vibes and best service, Francesco and Laura did a great job in helping us with the menu and very responsive to us.

We went to The Pasta Factory after seeing that they make their pasta fresh, everyday. We ordered a dish recommended by our very kind waiter, which was the RAVIOLI AL POMODORO CON CREMA DI AGLIO NERO, described as the best dish on the menu. It was actually really good! A well-composed set of flavours, which made a unique dish. The portion was really good too. We also got the burrata from the antipasti selection and, again, the portion was great and the flavours all combined very well. We are definitely going to come back to the place in the future, to try other types of pasta too.

Last minute decision to head to Manchester for lunch today with my husband. We always try to visit The Pasta Factory every few months to get our Italian/pasta fix. Small but wonderful menu, with interesting & tasty options. We had the burrata & the calamari to start - both beautiful! My husband was practically licking the bowl after he’d finished the calamari. For pasta we had the pesto & burrata bucatini, & the squid ink bucatini with cured tuna in a black garlic sauce & chilli oil - wow! Perfect size portions, if anything I struggled to finish mine but it tasted too good to leave. Great service from Francesco & Laura, but then again it’s always good service with you never feeling rushed. We’ll be back soon 😊

Went there slightly late and they were super good about us being late. The pasta was amazing. As a gluten intolerant person, it’s not often I get to east good pasta when out but they had it and it was fantastic. Tried my friends dishes and can recommend the squid ink dish. I had the gluten free gnocchi and it was just as good. Full of flavour and perfectly cooked. I will be a regular

It was late-ish on a Friday and my group was hungry- thankfully, we were seated and served straightaway! The mushroom-based vegan dish I ordered was a savoury delight- particularly the sauce.

Always great to help support a small independent business, genuine Italian vibe. The dishes are all both delicious and spectacular and served with great taste. The staff is very friendly and kind, couldn’t recommend it enough!

Lovely place with nice staff. The starter is good and I really liked the bread. Ordered a truffle pasta but barely felt the truffles - the waitress was kind and gave an extra portion. The ravioli is simply AMAZING! The black aioli sauce is incredibly good. Dessert is also good. Not my favourite pasta restaurant but price was fair and I would be back for the ravioli.

Me and my friends spontaneously decided to come here because we saw that they offered handmade gluten-free pasta, ideal for our friend who is intolerant, though they clearly cater to those with allergies as well where cross-contamination is a bigger issue. We were late for our reservation and the wonderful people there generously waited for us despite being minutes away from closing the kitchen. The pasta and all of the sauces were divine. Clearly all made from scratch, it felt like we'd magically entered through a portal and landed in a real Italian trattoria. My pasta cost £15, that is so decent given the freshness and the quality of the ingredients — I've paid around the same or more for pasta in other restaurants where it's just from a box and only cost pennies to make. Everyone was so friendly and patient with us, I truly cannot recommend this place enough, food and service were both outstanding. I am sad I don't live in Manchester but I will be returning!
