Really lovely, small and cosy place to get a bite to eat. One of Chorltons quirky little restaurants with food that is based on international dishes. The menu is quite limited - there's a small plates selection with around 7 items and a handful of mains. The food is really good with the perfect amount of flavour and spice and they have a good selection of alcoholic drinks too. It's a little bit on the expensive side for what it is and there was only 4 non-alcoholic drinks to choose from which is disappointing if you don't drink alcohol. Overall though, the food and drinks were more than what we had expected which is always good and we really liked it. I'd definitely recommend :)
Lauren and her 6ft angry man made us very welcome and provided amazing service and a great atmosphere.
The food was delicious, the only criticism is the portions were huge, maybe smaller portion at a slightly lower price point would be an idea. The coffee and hot chocolate were perfect.
Will most definitely be returning for more of this intriguing menu and look forward trying the afternoon/evening menu.
Tried here one Saturday evening, a quirky eclectic place with small internationally-inspired dishes. Cosy atmosphere, very laid back and friendly staff. Tasty dishes, very flavourful and inspired. Shared the Persian nachos as starter, very nice combination. Later I tried the prawn curry and my husband had the rendang chicken burger, both of which were amazing. Good selection of drinks too, all at reasonable prices. Deserts looked yummy, some people were just in for the sweets! Would definitely go back to try more dishes.
