Post Covid Update: the new menu is good! It's generally £12 a main. When I visited, they were out of several options but the cheese burger was actually one of the best I've had, and I've eaten a lot of burgers 🙂

Went to Tuesdays pie night. Great value at £6.95 for pie, chips or mash and peas + a pint or glass of wine. Very friendly service. Told the pies are homemade on the day. Had the Steak and Ale pie that was very good. For an extra £3.95 had the homemade sticky toffee pudding with ice cream - deli
Lovely pub with a good choice of beers, good music and a friendly atmosphere and staff! The kind of place to sit and hang out for hours, it's definitely worth a visit!
Lovely traditional pub. A joy for historians! Great staff and a cosy, friendly atmosphere that allows for couples or groups to co-exist. There are different spaces you can choose from to be in. Great mix of people across generations. Highly recommend 👌
Not sure what the embroidery 'Finished' refers to but great pub.
