Neat and well presented accomidation on the first floor. Shared facilities but had no issue with these and the shower and tiowls were clean. No issue with the patrons of what appears to be a very poluar public house.
The only issue is that the rooms overlook a loud and busy main road where people exceeding the speedlimit continued late into the night. I would recomend the venue for a mid-week stay but probably not a Friday or Saturday night again.
Lovely place only stopped by for a quick pint. Friendly service and good atmosphere. Loved the 80s tracks.
Our first visit to Malton stopped off for a few hours called in the Globe for pub meal.

Had a couple of pints on a quiet night but Rob the Landlord is a one man atmosphere in himself. Last pub open in town on a Tuesday night!
A classic, traditional market town locals' local but with a stamp put on by Rob and his team. Funny boozy quotes adorn the upper walls/beams. Malton being closely connected with the horse-racing industry, the customers get engrossed in whichever race meeting on the TVs.
Very popular with the younger generation, has a nice beer garden
Always good for football. If it's on Sky Sports or BT Sports it's on at The New Globe.

Can't recommend rooms as only visited for a drink but good range of beers staff very friendly and helpful
Cheap but cheerful place. Stayed one night and facilities although basic were all great, couldn't fault the room. Staff behind the bar were really helpful and even delivered an iron to my room when I was in dire need at 9 at night. Yes there is traffic outside but found with some earphones in as I was going to sleep I didn't notice it (was aware from other reviews it was present). Will definitely stay again if I need a hotel in Malton. Thanks guys.

Full of character and class, a real proper pub with classic karaoke and a pool table and the best guests you can fins. Friendly and fun suitable for all ages
Brilliant pub with amazing staff. Ideal for a weekend break or even longer. Biker friendly so safe place to keep your bike. Lots of nice places to visit and advice from staff if needed. Highly recommended. 5* from me

Best landlord, brilliant staff, great beer strongly recommend staying. Rooms are very clean. Only down fall is its not en suite but still brilliant. Great value for money.
