Great chippy this with plenty of places to park up nearby to snaffle up their fantastic freshly made fish and chips.

Happened upon this chippy when travelling, and it's clearly a popular one. Lovely light and crispy batter on the cod (generous portion too) and the chips were a good mix of soft and crispy. Oh, and chip spice is available too. Top notch.
Very nice fish and chips would highly recommend. Chips were cooked lovely and the fish is done fresh so there may be a wait. Curry sauce was also tasty.

Wow! Delicious fish and chips!! The best we’ve ever had and four empty boxes to prove it!! The small fish and chips are an excellent portion size and the staff were really accommodating. All cooked fresh. We found this place via a search on Google maps after a trip to Flamingo Land and it was the perfect end to a great day! Thank you!

I have known this shop for the past 3 years, Carlos, the boss, is a very nice man. He treats his customers like family. And he always likes to serve fresh food to all people. He never compromises in the quality of food. Whenever I go to Malton, I like to go to him, his nature is very nice. And its staff is also very friendly.
This is easily the best fish and chips in town if not anywhere. I always drive from down norton to get them but its always worth it. Never had a bad one. I get them in boxes to make sure they are still extra special when i get home. Just want to thank Carlos and the team for alway providing great service and amazing freshly cooked food.
Live local the other side of the (norton) heard really good things about this place, so thought I would try it out. It did not disappoint!
Perfect, nest fish and chips I've had in a very long time. Batter on the fish was so light and not dripping in grease and the chips were very nice too!
Proper fish and chips (quality and quantity) served by genuinely friendly staff. A hidden gem.

Well, if you like fish & chips, this is the place, they do small portions if you eat what I would say "normal" portions (if you're over 50 that is) for less than £5, otherwise you'll be overtakes, the portions are huge but the flavours are so good that you don't want to leave a scrap on the plate.
Just had some awesome fish and chips from Peasey Hill. It was our first visit here and it didn't disappoint. If you visit here you'll be very happy but make sure you bring your appetite because they do not skimp on portion sizes! Brilliant.
Food was lovely. We arrived upon opening so our food was lovely and fresh! Very good prices. We were just passing on our way back to York.
