Stopped by for an impromptu drink. The bar area is light and airy and the sun was shining in! It’s dog friendly and very spacious. We perused the menu and decided to order some food. They ran out of a few options which was a shame as I really fancied the Goan fish curry. Nevertheless, the lamb tagin
Lovely food, great service and a pleasant atmosphere. Not noisy; just quiet music played for ambience. I enjoyed my visit very much.
Loved the place, and the location, food, drink and service was great. Food takes a while but its worth the wait.
My only negative comment is the acoustics - it can be noisy.
Best food I've had in ages, really enjoyed the white bean and fennel stew. I recognise this to anyone who wants to be surprised as I had no idea stew could be this good. Well done as well to the waitress who looked after us while dealing with a busy restaurant, you did a great job. (We visited Sat 2
Went on a Monday evening. Very quiet, but a lovely venue with welcoming and attentive staff. Had the slow roast beef with cornbread. It was fantastic. Will be going again to try other options which look equally enticing.
The staff were great. Very accommodating. Food and drink great. Only thing I'd say is maybe have slightly bigger portions of food. Still had an enjoyable night with friends. Thanks.
After walking past and dismissing this spot because of it's name ( it's a vegan thing) I checked online about menus. What an excellent place. Great food, properly made cocktail and a lovely building.
Staff helpful and great at their jobs. Thanks.
A good margarita says volumes about a place
Staff very friendly, food delicious. Lamb tagine was fantastic
A busy lunchtime with just 2 staff on but service was slick and food was good. Pigs in blankets were just that with nothing else but staff happy to provide a bread bun at no cost. Pleasant staff genuinely interested in what we thought of the food. We will return.
Despite not booking we were fitted in on a Friday evening after not getting into 3 other venues because we hadn’t booked. Should have come here in the first place : the food and service was terrific! Fabulous find and will definitely be returning. Fantastic .... thank you!
Lovely place to eat lunch. The food is tasty and the service great.
Whatever you order I'd recommend the cornbread as your side.
Two of us popped on for a quick mid-week lunch, we took advantage of the lunch offer and had two "pot meals", corn bread and soft drinks. Service was good, we had a Chicken Cattatoria and Gnocchi with Chorizo, both were tasty and well spiced and well portioned. All for £20, well worth a visit.
Though my friend and I did not have food, we did enjoy coffee and fresh orange. Loved the decor, and although it was only 4 o'clock on Saturday afternoon there was a nice atmosphere. We both felt we must give a shout to Phil the Manager. He went above and beyond to Welcomb guests, get them safely se
Great food and staff very friendly would have given 5 stars but got charged £2.45 for tap water, spoilt the experience I'm afraid and stopped me leaving a tip, which I feel a bit mean about as waitress was lovely. Take note owner's don't be greedy. Otherwise super evening and great food.
