The Providence Inn - Malton - Photo album

We're regular campers and The Providence is one of our real favourites for pitching up. The staff welcome and service during our stay together with the excellent food offering are a big factor, beautiful location and excellent clean facilities too. Highly recommended by us...!
Last minute booking as a social event, nice homely bar, lots of outside space, plenty of parking, good food, reasonably priced, decent drinks selection too, much to my delight.
Had a great meal (lamb burger from the Specials board, halloumi fajitas and chicken fajitas) along with really reasonable priced drinks. We took our 2 dogs and they were welcomed (and fussed over) all night. The evening was topped off with a fantastic performance by Connor Lawlor! All round a great
Great country pub. Friendly staff. The menu is great, we had slow braised lamb shank and the steak and ale pie. Both delicious. Good selection of beers.
Staff and regulars friendly. Dog friendly pub. Typical pub grub. Stopped over in our campervan. It did get quite noisy outside toward the end of the night but to be expected for a pub at the weekend. Would return.
Itโ€™s the first time weโ€™ve stayed on the campsite and found the beer quality great. We ate the first night and unfortunately the chips with our meals tasted as though the frying oil was spent. We had a great pitch overlooking the field behind the pub and it was pleasant up to breaking down the awning
Lovely place to stop, good combination of camping and pub. Chemical disposal and good value food. (AUG, Eat out to help out scheme) 6 elec hook ups with washing up facilities as well as the big field. Lost a star due to the whiff of septic tank thats right by the camping field .
Amazing stay in the Wonky Cottage, attached to the Providence. Nice and clean, great private area with hot tub. Ate in the Providence 2 nights running, food is lovely, portions spot on, all home cooked, steak pie is a MUST! Very friendly and helpful hosts Vicky and Neil. Thank you.
Lovely old pub , good atmosphere but we were there in the middle of the week so probably better at weekend. Food excellent and decently priced, very good portions . Couple of well kept real ales too.
Camped here again. Had a great time. Staff are very friendly, site is clean and no issues whatsoever. Will come again.

Didn't try the food only there for a stop on our camping trip. Lovely little place, good atmosphere, great pub.
Lovely pub, lovely food, lovely people. Was made welcome as soon as we arrived. Nice big grass field to park in. Toilets and showers, wash up area, kids play area, dog walks along the river bank. Will deffo be going back again. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿป
Popped in here to escape the rain on a ride out, has a great outdoor sheltered area, staff were great and so was the beer, camping facilities looked good too so may be back with my tent ๐Ÿ˜ ๐Ÿ‘
The pub where we were going to eat doesn't serve food on a Wednesday, so we called in here on the offchance. Lovely warm welcome, good choice on the food menu. There was only one Handpulled beer (Black Sheep), not a criticism just a fact so any real ale officionado's out there know what to expect. T
Not been here for a while and called in when passing and so pleased we did. The slow roasted belly pork was amazing! Young waiting staff were attentive and the pub itself was cosy, friendly locals, nice open fire, childrenโ€™s playground what more can you ask for. We will be returning ๐Ÿ˜€

First time in a few years visiting the pub and was warmly greeted by a new owner. Food was great and to my surprise the night entertainment was awesome. Good to see their is still some rural pubs that look after their customers. Highly recommend as the kids enjoyed the park whilst me and my partner
