We camped at the camp site down the road and it's a perfect place to nip for food.
Went on Friday evening, four adults and four children, had a lovely meal, my Grandson has allergies and something was cooked for him that he could eat. Would go here again if in the area.
We love this place. It's down to earth and friendly and we always feel at home. Great Sunday lunches, tasty beer, lovely big sheltered garden, lots of parking.
Fabulous place to stay. The room was clean and well presented, all the staff really friendly.
The food tho, that was something else, excellent quality and reasonably priced. The bar has a good range of real ales, also a really nice selection of Gins and Whiskies.

There's a lovely beer garden at the back and they serve a good selection of light lunches or main meals. Friendly and efficient table service. One way entry and exit for Covid procedures and sanitiser on entry. Really enjoyed our visit

Went tonight for dinner.....I have never ever tasted steak pie like this other than the ones my Gran used to make !! Fantastic food and great service...can't recommend enough !!
