Nice coffee, £7 for a cappuccino and a mocha, so normal coffee shop prices. Friendly, quick service (order at counter with a table number). Building and decor could do with a little tlc...
A lovely cosy, welcoming cafe with great atmosphere. Delicious cakes served and espresso was truly delicious. Always make a point of stopping here on way to coast.
Open fire, dogs, nice waitresses, good food and coffe at a reasonable price. A bit noisy with the coffee machine in use, but cheerful and reasonably comfotrtable. Seems to attract some nice customers too.
Lovely staff, great welcome, lots of quirky rooms (my favourite is upstairs looking over the market!) I had poached eggs on toast with smoked salmon - served on a hot plate!) very tasty! We’ll be back!
We stopped in for coffee and scones and were not disappointed. The coffee was hot, the scones very good and the service was excellent.
Went here today with my Mum and Dad. Great location in the heart of Malton town centre with friendly and professional staff and excellent food (I had a ham sandwich and a rocky road cake which were both lovely). Highly recommended!

After being nicely recommended The Hidden Monkey by another local cafe who didn't allow dogs inside, it was great to find that the food and coffee was well worth a little extra walk.

Friendly staff, good service and delicious cakes. 12 hungry walkers all very happy with the refreshments. Will visit again.
This cafe is lovely, highly recommend - we had delicious coffee and cake next to a roaring fire. Also really liked the local art and produce for sale
Five stars does not adequately describe this wonderful eatery.There are many tables downstairs but far more up.All in quaint rooms that provide a wonderful ambience.
It's very dog friendly and you would not know they are there.The toilets are spotlessly clean even though they get lot's of visitors.

What a lovely find. Great Café. Dog Friendly. Which is very important to me. The Courgette and Lentil Soup 🍲😋 was delicious 😋😋😋. Love the little open fireplaces in the Café too.

Been here before and the standard hasn't dropped. Excellent coffee and cakes. There was a group of women crafters meeting upstairs, my wife really enjoyed that. They meet every Tuesday and are glad for you to join in.
Good food, good place to sit outside, have been a few times as cafe breaks on bike rides. The cake, coffee & sandwiches are great
