Called in for the first time on Tuesday. Roaring fires, friendly staff and the best cooked breakfast I've had in a long time ! As we were leaving it was getting very busy & I felt another person serving would have been good, as people were having a longer wait.

Popped in for lunch feeling rather under the weather. Sat in front of the roaring fire and had the festive sandwich with roast potatoes and gravy. Left feeling so much better. Wonderful xx

The atmosphere was ok when we walked in, and the food selection was decent. We were a bit surprised at the slow service with how empty the place seemed and the dirty table we had to sit at was never noticed or cleaned. The food was beautiful, I was pleased to see that the Yorkshire pudding looked home made and not some ready made Aunt Bessie kind or similar. We were thinking of trying the desert options but waiting for someone to come back and see if we wanted any was far too long, so we lost interest and decided to just pay and leave. We had a really great time and people were friendly.

Medium full English not too bad value at 8.50 as it included the decent coffee; having to choose between beans and tinned tomato seemed a bit mean, and bizarrely the tomato was served in a cup. Good, clean ingredients and with toast & fried bread - not common these days. A warmer welcome would have been nice.

This is a little gem of a find...plus it is very dog friendly! The food was fab but the cakes were out of this world...so much so I had a rather large takeaway 😄. The staff were super friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. Would highly recommend a visit or two!!

This place has to be one of the best Sunday dinners, Couldn't fault it the lamb was properly cooked so was all the vegetables, Yorkshire pudding was great nice and light, and the gravy was proper gravy, I would recommend if you are around Malton between 11am and 2pm on a sunday try here for a Sunday dinner, Or you can have a really good breakfast they come in small, full English or large Well prices for all the food Staff /owners are very nice with fast and attentive service.

Glad we came across this tea room. Really welcoming and friendly. All our meals were so tasty. The full English had a 10/10 with the best fried bread ever. Never tasted such mouthwatering brie in a panini. A must to call in if you are ever in Malton.

We visited here as we had read reviews about this tearoom which we liked. One of which was they allow dogs . We arrived for lunch and ordered the hot pork rolls with chips which was very good. We sat in the back, near the open fire which made it quite cosy. The only thing that surprised me was they close at 2pm . This made us mindful of what limited time we had . We weren't rushed but I find it surprising for a tearoom to close so early.

Very good value. Lovely coffee and cake. Saw others eating the roast dinner and am definitely going back to try. Also, only place in Malton that still serves fried bread with a cooked breakfast.

Amazing food especially freshly made Yorkshire puddings & Coffee Slice. Only one issue we had with the service but not too big a deal as genuine mistake by server. Popped in very early 9am for takeaway coffee slice, but was given Biscoff slice instead although I had asked few times to ensure. Sadly only realised it upon eating it miles away from the shop, otherwise pretty sure they would have offered coffee slice for free. Was good nevertheless but still not what I had wanted/paid for. Otherwise very pleased with food and overall service.

We returned again five months later , its cheap cheerful and basic half the price of other coffee shops, tea in man size mugs and lovely breakfast, the waitress even remembered us ....if you want a sit down away from town center no frills then try it ,

This is a lovely little local tea room , no fuss and fancy, if you want a proper breakfast and a really proper big pot of tea and cups your husband can put his fingers through the handle and hold properly and lovely log fire to match the warm welcome then this is the place, dogs welcome too
