Dropped by for a cup of tea with my daughter. We shared a millionaire shortbread which must be the best we've tasted! Both the chocolate and caramel was gooey and melt in the mouth! We loved it and will definitely be coming back for more.

I ordered a goats cheese, pear and walnut salad for lunch here today. This was the freshest, tasty yet simple salad I've ever had when eating out. Perfectly dressed and seasoned and exactly what I hoped for and totally delicious!! And the best coffee I've had in a long time....

A great cafe. The cakes we had were delicious. It's quite small to fit a buggy in, however, staff asked us to wait until a bigger table became free so we could fit in. The homemade Battenburg cake was delicious.

We came for afternoon tea here and I would definitely recommend it! We’ve been before for lunches and cakes but when they advertised afternoon tea, we booked a table! The staff were welcoming and friendly and the cafe was Covid safe. They offered us water up front and took our drinks order. Then the food came shortly after. We couldn’t believe the selection! It tasted fresh and delicious! We had a selection of ginger sandwiches as well as a sausage roll and quiche. Then there were a fruit scone and cheese scone with jam/clotted cream, and chutney/butter. The cakes were dinky but the right portion. Overall, we loved it! Had such a lovely experience that we want to come back again!!

Had light lunch and coffee and cake. All delicious. Excellent service. I would compare it to Betty's, but nowhere near Betty's prices.

Fabulous little establishment in Malton and one I shall definitely revisit. Great vintage vibe; fab cinnamon toast, yum yum. Exceptional young man serving, by the name of Liam - courteous, polite, warm and welcoming and with plenty of smiles. Very affable chap and a credit to the business and to his parents. Thanks for looking after me. Staff like this make you want to come back! Lutt & Turner's gunpowder green tea was loose leaf to boot! Extra points there! Highly recommended.

One of my favourite places not only in Malton, nor in Yorkshire, nor in the UK but in the world! Always an impeccable service from entering to leaving, a sumptuous array of things to eat or drink. It’s such a special feeling to have the “usual” being prepared when walking through the door. A truly special place and so much appreciated. Thank you!

My go to breakfast when I treat myself at any cafe is smashed avocado on sourdough toast, with poached eggs and crispy/streaky bacon. As I was in the Malton area, on advice from a local and on taking Trip Advisor recommendations for this place, I walked in at 9.30am only to find the cafe was packed out with diners. The lady front of house told me that it had been manic since it opened at 8.30am but sadly she didn't have any tables available. She advised that one was likely to become available within 15 minutes if I was prepared to wait, so wait I did. Within 10 minutes one became available. A menu was presented there were variations of what I wanted but not exactly it. I asked the lady front of house if it was possible to have exactly what I wanted, and to my delight she said that it was. A very nice oatmilk cappuccino was quickly delivered to me and only minutes later, despite how busy it was, my chosen breakfast arrived. Needless to say it was delicious and hit the button exactly. The toast was nice and crispy, the avocado was tasty, and the egg was poached to perfection. This establishment is well worth a visit if you are ever in the Malton area, and any wait fir a table is well worth it. The lady front of house was very friendly without being imposing, and needs to be congratulated. The high score I have given reflects my experience at this establishment. If there is an observation, which to be honest does not merit a reduction in my marking, is that most other establishments I go to provides 2 poached eggs and 2 rashers of crispy/streaky bacon instead of only one apiece. This is only an observation as stated and not a criticism.
