Nice friendly people, owners and customers. Popped in for a quick drink on our way home. Nice outside area by the river will be lovely in the sun.
We came here on a Sunday afternoon for a fiftieth birthday get together. There was a large group of us in and we were well taken care of despite the birthday boy becoming fairly loud with his tall story telling and power laughing. This is very much a small village pub full of character and characters. The food is good quality home made pub food, well served. I would recomend the steak and stilton pie, it was fantastic.
The Sunday lunch cannot be beaten. Great Country pub with a real fire, very friendly atmosphere, good service and great value.
