Simply adore the Old Bell Hotel. Oldest pub in England with a real sense of history. New owners have invested in renovating and reinvigorating the hotel, but have cleverly blended modern style with the Old Bell's traditional historic features. Worth a trip to see the decor and style. The food, drink
My husband and I have just spent a wonderful weekend at this fab hotel! The room was absolutely amazing and the staff were so friendly and helpful, couldn’t do enough to make our stay enjoyable. The breakfast was delicious and so much choice and the one dinner we had was also amazing. Highly recomme
Had an enjoyable 2 night stay at the hotel. On the first night we had a 7 course taster menu which was fantastic, and on the second night we ordered from the bar menu and again the food was of a high standard. The room was a small but had everything needed for the stay. The room had a fan which was

From the first call the device was excellent, friendly and welcoming. This continued once I’d arrived. The room was well appointed and nice
Ate supper in the restaurant after visiting the abbey. Had scallops as a starter and trout as a main course. Food was excellent. The lounge has a 700 year old fireplace.
Went here last night for a work meal as part of our getaway and couldn't be made to feel more welcome. Paf is a complete star and made our evening. On top of this the food was top quality, but generous portion sizes for once, all at a reasonable price. Additionally they went above and beyond when on
Unable to comment on rooms as this was not an overnight stay but just a lunch visit. Incredible place, beautiful place inside and out in terms of architecture. Large and spacious inside, great for those who need a wheelchair or any additional supportive device at their side for mobility. Service
