Four of us stayed here occupying both rooms in the B&B. Comfortable, with a great view. Our host Sharon was charming and helpful. We also ate at the restaurant and we had the best meal that we had during our Scottish trip.
Very close to the train station and the ferry terminal . Having said that, Mallaig is pretty small and everything seems to happen in the middle of town.
Well worth visiting.
It took us some time before being served, but it's worth it.
I ordered some fish and chips and oh my god it was a masterpiece!!
We wanted to eat fast and we searched around till we found Cornerstone and decided to try it.
They were so nice when we were leaving, I even said I'd leave a 5 star review.
Big W.
We had a fantastic meal last Saturday evening at this friendly and welcoming restaurant. The dining room was pleasant and airy, with a relaxed atmosphere and a great view. The service was faultless and the food superb. I had monkfish from the specials board, which was imaginatively prepared, and cooked to perfection. My partner had a very tasty chicken option. A great find which we would love to visit again.
Fantastic sea food, we visit there every time we are in Scotland.
Great, friendly service.
Spoilt for going anywhere else.
The host was very welcoming even though our stay was short we felt great comfort & Breakfast was awesome. Ferry and railway station are quite nearby, parking was available in a walkable distance.
What an amazing place! The service was fast and polite. The food was spectacular. The view from the restaurant was gorgeous. Totally recommend. Delicious fish and chips. If riding in the steam train, make sure to arrive early so you don't have to wait for a table!
Friendly staff and easy location. They had a reduced menu but it was absolutely no worry.
The Cullen Skink soup was one of the best soups I’ve had, and the fish and chips were great.
Definitely the place to come if you’re here briefly.
Lovely location, nice, quiet room with a great view. Really friendly staff and the breakfast I got was delicious. Shame I did not get to talk more to Sharon, she seems lovely.
Food was delicious and service was so friendly and welcoming. Really kind waitress and my wee boy had a ghostbuster toy and she made him a special ghostbuster juice! Just the little things. Lovely!
A return visit for us after we were blown away by the quality of the food the first time we visited, the young chef showcases the local food to such a high standard it shouldn’t be missed, the friendliness and attention given by the whole team made us feel so comfortable, the room we stayed in was very clean and so comfortable with a fantastic nights sleep, we will definitely visit when we return to the area, beautiful view over the harbour with lots to see in the area.
We were looking for a nice local restaurant, not too high end, but with nice food and a good atmosphere and we found all that af the cornerstone. We had the scallops, mussels and monkfish as main course and the chocolate taste and panna cotta as desert. The food was delicious and the service was perfect. I would really recommend this place if you’re looking for good food (mainly fish) and cosy restaurant with amazing service a great atmosphere.
Fish and Chips were fantastic, service was great and with a smile. Window view of the harbor was perfect. Would highly recommend and would return.
Absolutely wonderful place. Such a friendly welcoming stay.
Breakfast was superb and gluten free no problem at all.
Beautiful food. Very friendly and happy place. The lunch menu was amazing. Would recommend 100%.
Fantastic food accompanied by amazingly welcoming and caring staff. They patiently helped with food choices and made sure we had a great dinner.
The food in this restaurant is wonderful. The service is excellent and the ambience, overlooking the harbour is perfect
