I cannot rate this pub/Hotel highly enough for a “get away from it all dog friendly break” from the staff who all clearly love dogs, to the service with a smile attitude, to the great food, it has it all! Arrived on Friday, we’d forgotten towels for Oliver, our black Labrador, no problem, we were given two big bath towels specifically for him, brilliant! Oliver was treated like a VIP, given treats, fussed all night long by the staff, and in the morning was given a bowl of chopped up sausage for his doggie breakfast!
Great choice of beers, great food and wine menu, all enjoyed in a superb atmosphere, no pretence, it’s just what we needed, we are definitely booking a winter break to make the most of the beautiful wood burning stoves! Fantastic base from which to explore Malham cove and tarn, exceeded expectations, thank you guys!👍
Our 3rd visit and stopover at this fabulous inn, a cosy friendly pub, superb food, great staff and service throughout. The rooms are top quality in every aspect.. Highly recommend.
Very impressed with every aspect - menu choice, food, ambience and comfort, service all excellent. I did think some items on the menu were maybe slightly pricey e.g the meat and fish platters we had were delicious but slightly overpriced perhaps. I’d like to see a dry rose by the glass on offer rather than two off-dry/medium ones. But would certainly return, we all enjoyed our visit immensely - and service with a smile makes such a difference.
We had come to Malham to walk and just enjoy a few days away to chill. The weather put its own slant on our break... Luckily we found the Lister Arms. We had eaten here a couple of times and when we became stranded in the village happily checked ourselves in for an extra days ‘holiday’. The staff, service, food and quality of rooms are exceptional. Definitely the best place to stay in this beautiful part of the world.
Lovely stay ~ room in the barn was lovely , fab little touches in the room. Great food nice choice for breakfast, staff v friendly and helpful. Will recommend.
Lovely break away for a couple of nights, fantastic food and drinks 🍸 beautiful room and facilities.

Just back from our little break away we stayed at Lister Barn absolutely amazing!!! We ate at the Lister Arms the food was great and the lady was absolutely lovely and so helpful! My little dog also loved his sausages in the morning! � would highly recommend this place

Great staff can’t do enough for us and the food was brilliant.
We had a mini break here on Monday/Tuesday. Fabulous warm pub on a damp grey day. Open fires, great food and selection of real ales. Our room was fabulous too, spacious, lovely soft furnishings, homemade biscuits on the room tray. All staff a credit to the management. I'd like to think we will be back. Top place for holidaying with your �.
Excellent relaxing stay with great company, the barn was top notch and a very warm friendly pub and first class food, lovely area and a lovely enjoyable short break, the staff were so helpful and nice, highly recommended,
