I was taken here by my children for a lovely meal. Fantastic selection of food on the menu, friendly staff and very reasonably priced. The onion bhaji's were enormous and very tasty. I had lamb tikka dopiaza and a keema naan plus I tried the butter chicken and chicken tikka masala all of which were excellent.
Really nice food, delivered much quicker than other restaurants! The owner is an absolute charm to talk to, he loves to get to know everyone by name and really gives every day 110%. I simply could not fault this place if I tried. If you're eating in I'd suggest booking a table as this place gets full on a weekend.
Excellent food and service at this family run restaurant. The owner himself came over several times for a chat and to ensure food was nice. Was nice to hear all about the history of the restaurant. Will definitely return!
We had a nice meal here, the food and service was good and we managed to get a table with no problems.
The only downside is that it was cold in there (February) bit other than that it was good. I'll definitely be returning.

Fantastic experience food and staff excellent
Always have used the takeaway service. They can deliver but takes a long time because they are very popular. Staff as always polite and friendly. I have never had a bad meal from here, compared to other local indian restaurants. Can get busy so always book if you wish to eat in. Highly recommended to order takeaway by phone rather than turn up on spec as this can take a while. Overall most satisfactory and recommended.

Love the food and the staff are both friendly and helpful. We have an Indian restaurant on our doorstep in Danbury but we would rather travel to Heybridge. We are moving soon but we will still make the longer journey as it’s well work it. For the finest food and the best hospitality, try them and you won’t want to go anywhere else. Lee Paterson
Food was excellent couldn't fault a thing service was slow but they were extremely buisy. Didn't matter to us as we were not in a hurry 21st birthday so we're taking our time anyway.
Such a lovely restaurant. Excellent food and the staff come round regularly with enthusiasm. Owners are really friendly. One of the best Indians around!
