The best coffee shop in town! Matestone offers delicious, fresh food (really do try the carrot cake), a wide variety of tasty drinks, a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and very kind and friendly staff that go above and beyond to answer questions and meet the needs of their guests. The laid back vibes are so refreshing and relaxing, making it a great place to study, work, or chat with friends. Cannot recommend enough!
Such a nice coffee spot. Sat in with a friend, chatted with the owners, relaxed and played some chess, all in a nice atmosphere with good coffee. Can't recommend it enough
Great independent coffee shop. Fresh food and decent drinks. Great surroundings. So nice to escape the typical chain venues. Lots of character and style inside, nice to sit outside on a sunny day to watch the world go by. Prices are very reasonable too.
I found it! A great Macchiato in Maidstone. I always seem to be in Maidstone on a Monday and Maestone is closed on a Monday so today, Friday I was here when it opened and within seconds I was chatting to the barista and was confident I was about to enjoy a great coffee. I wasn’t disappointed. A double Macchiato with the perfect amount of foam was presented to me with….a glass of water on the side. This proves to me that these guys understand coffee. I am still here after a couple more and the place is buzzing. I highly recommend it for all ages.

The best coffee I’ve had in a long time, and after speaking to the owner and discovering the coffee is locally sourced, I’m not surprised.
I ordered a flat white from the very welcoming and friendly staff and sat in their warm and comfortable cafe. The atmosphere is relaxing and homely, and I was deeply fascinated by their collection of board games and books- due to my visit only being short I didn’t get the opportunity to play or read anything, but I look forward to returning and doing so in the future.
I didn’t order any food but their menus looked great, so much so that I plan to return for a meal soon.
Overall a wonderful experience. I felt like more than just a customer, and the coffee was superb. Will be returning without a doubt.
