The most wonderful therapeutic garden, a true haven on the outskirts of Maidstone (Barming, St Andrew's Road) its cafe now transformed with more outdoor spaces with Deli counter offering heavenly cakes, snacks and light lunches. Prepared by co-workers and those facing long term challenges, the gardens are biodynamic/organic, the produce positively bursting with life forces! This is an oasis of calm and recuperation in a hectic world. Try it out! ME16 9AN.

I love this place. the garden is so relaxing to sit in and watch world go by and they do alot of great work helping those with disabilities to not be isolated. The cafe is nice also. perhaps a little expensive, but as it is all made on site on the day so very fresh have to expect this. There cakes and other goodies are often baked by the patrons who take part in the baking classes they offer. They have helped me immensley with my own isolation.

Beautiful little cafe with a lovely atmosphere, food is amazing. All volunteers work so hard to cook, prepare and serve the food. Gorgeous gardens surround the cafe, you can buy plants grown on site and a charity shop on site also. Elderly relatives love spending time here.

One of my favourite places for a comfortable lunch, tea and cake, or whatever. No longer solely a veggie menue, often home cooked meat dishes and always fresh and interesting salads. Large, refurbished second-hand shop and super range of home grown plant specimens and bedding for sale in the two greenhouses - cold and heated. Loads of outdoor seating in the gardens as well. You may fall in love with the place!

One if my favourite places. Relaxed calm atmosphere. Unless one know's the area easily missed. Vegetarian food cooked on the premises. Great Value for money. Home made bread chutney etc can be bought. Good place to come for coffee and sit in the garden as well as the coffee shop.

Recently finished these gardens are designed as somewhere to sit while having lunch from the cafe or as a safe place to rest the mind and soul. The Blackthorn Charity helps people with improving their mental wellness. The produce from the garden is used by the cafe, their is also an online charity site.
