Pizza Express Maidstone is not just any normal pizza express. It is one of the only restaurants to have a pizza express music room playing live music from a variety of styles.
The food is great and you can get a lovely meal for under £10. They always have awesome deals running like 20% off with an NUS Extra Card or a free bottle of Prossecco on your birthday (if you're signed up to their newsletter).
The food is really good to and although it is called PIZZA express the pasta is as good as the competitors!
I can see why Jamie’s Italian never quite made it. The competition in this sector is immense; the likes of chain Italian restaurant Pizza Express offer excellent environments to enjoy quality food. As its namesake suggests it does offer pizzas, Neapolitan style, in all your favourite flavours. Also, Pizza express offers a range of exciting non-pizza dishes e.g., halloumi bites, arancini. The food is tailored to your dietary requirements, vegans and vegetarians can “fill their boots”.
I love the prestige interior of the Maidstone operation. It is huge with a prominent staircases the reception area. Service is professional and accurate; given its size it is a great place for groups, especially families.
Superb venue for a top gig
The Jazz lounge in Maidstone is a hidden gem of high quality sound and international interest in the jazz, blues and lounge scene. Sit down meals with live music every week, kids pizza parties and a romantic but reasonably priced setting in one of Maidstone's most attractive buildings opposite the famous Hazlitt theatre, making this a great family or date night out option. Wheelchair parking in the street or safe parking at Fremlin Walk Carpark
Benefit music night. Fully booked. Service very good
Pizza was simple. But fine. Only I didn’t like al Wales around me was dirty!!! Eww..
Went on Sunday evening for a birthday treat. Used voucher codes from the vouchercloud app. Was fantastic value as we paid £30 for 2 3 course meals and drinks. Was very quiet when we went and we were seated right by the kitchen so we could see and smell the action. Would recommend.
Food was very good but seems a bit pricey for what you get. Once we went on a busy night and we were upstair, everything was very slow but they did apologize and give a bit of discount on the food that was delayed. All other times I have been, I haven’t experienced that. Will still go back as the food is good.
Went to see a gig with various musicians from my school. The atmosphere was great, as was the sound. Pizzas were well cooked and tasty, but the service, although very friendly and helpful was a bit erratic.
Brilliant pizza love it so much will come here again.
Nice restaurant with good service. Feels like your in someone’s house which is odd. Be sure to actually ask for your bill when you’re ready to go as we were waiting half an hour for the waitress to come back after we turned down dessert despite it not being that busy. Otherwise can’t fault it!
Had a decent meal here, just never pay full price! Used the tesco vouchers as usual which made the meal a bargain.
Also now do a gluten free dough ball which went down well
I really like the pizza here. Always a good standard and service is always pretty good too. A little slow this time as Shakatak were playing upstairs so beware music nights!
Pizza Express for live music excellent. Tonight was Aid Lewis and his band. Some great songs, total commitment and playing the audience like a fiddle. Superb!
