Went here with a friend for a catch up and it was lovely, it was around lunch time so wasn't too busy. We sat on the lower level and inside of the restaurant where there is a skylight so the sun was beaming in which was fab.
The food was fresh, good portions, and the waitress and waiters were so helpful and attentive. We went here with my friends baby and they were very accomodating.
Nice to come into the newly refurbished Zizzi so much brighter and more colourful. It looked good and felt great to be back . The Staff always remember us as this is our favourite restaurant in Maidstone . The food was delicious as always . I really liked the set menu really great choices there . As for the service it was fantastic. They are now card only restaurant but you can still leave a cash tip if you want but it gets shared out between all the staff even the cleaners and pot washer. Love the Maidstone branch. Turned up on spec on a busy Sat night and were warmly received - busy but managed to fit us in due to a few no shows. We had the fixed price menu i.e. 3 dishes - starter, mains and dessert (£23.95 I think). I had the King Prawn Spiedini and my partner the Bruchetta, both excellent. Mains for me was the Rustica Piccante pizza - my absolute favourite - nice thin crust, plenty of topping and a nice spicy kick to it. Partner had the salad which she rated as good. Both had the tiramisu for dessert which had plenty of flavour to it. All ordered via the app which is accessed via QRS code on menu. Food arrived quickly and served by lovely staff. Absolutely spot on in terms of food quality, value and service. UPDATE March 2023 - took 6 of us for my Sons birthday meal last night - received a call from Fraser the manager saying they had found some birthday cards plus a cheque and thought they might belong to my Son. They were correct! Cards now being posted together with cheque from his Gran - service above and beyond. Food was excellent again, lovely waitress and didnt cost the earth.
A nice large restaurant where it was easy to get a table for 8 on a Saturday afternoon. Friendly and enthusiastic waiter. Good menu and nicely decorated for a chain restaurant. Only major disappointment was the number of menu items unavailable. When sat down we were given a list of items that could not be ordered so at least there was no confusion over what we could have.
Myself and my girlfriend come here often. Never been let down, consistently amazing pizza. I'd highly recommend to go with the pepperoni, packed with flavour. Or keep it simple with a margherita.

The customer service was great. I had ‘Rustica Picante’ pizza and passion fruit cocktail. The pizza was too large for my liking and it was too crusty. The drink was perfect.
Slow service when it comes to taking orders but the servers were extremely friendly. Apsoloutley delicious food and drinks (we had their cocktails, a pizza and a calzone), which came out at a general pace. Beautifully decorated restaurant, very clean tables, toilets and cutlery. Would apsoloutley come here again!!
How many excellent new wave, chain Italian restaurants has Maidstone got? Many, Zizzi is, as is the case for all that I have tried, excellent.
The restaurant has loads of room; there is even more dining space upstairs. I do like the bright dining space, brightened further with an array of sparkly fixtures. The centre piece of the restaurant is the food preparation area with its huge wood fired oven. It brings a smile to the face when I see this setup. I know the bread is going to be phenomenal.
Yes, the bread was phenomenal; all dishes that I ordered were. I loved the rustica Quattro no magi pizza. Sweet “cheeses”, cut to your own requirements using the pizza cutter. This Naples style pizza melted in the mouth. Service was smiley, chatty and attentive. Food was served promptly and piping hot.

We were met at the door by a very friendly happy enthusiastic man which set a good tone for the visit. Someone in our party commented that we must come here often as the staff knew us, such was the greeting (we'd not been before). We were sat upstairs so had great service from the waitresses as they had a station nearby. Food portions from the mothers day menu were a lot smaller than the normal menu, but the taste and quality was good. Overall a nice meal, just a shame about the portions. Will definitely go back, and order from the standard menu 🙂
