Visited for brunch with a friend recently & so glad we chose here, both of us had the Eggs Royale (with salmon) and tea/drinks, as others mention the muffins are served as un-toasted, though the whole dish was still very nice.
The general presentation and atmosphere in this place made the visit and with 2 areas downstairs plus more room upstairs there’s a good choice of tables (loo is upstairs in case that matters to some). We’d definitely love to return ❤️
Edit: Just been for another visit on a weekend, v good!…& lovely helpful staff. Just realised there’s a terrace so will be back (photos).
Just perfect for Saturday brunch (breakfast served until 12:30). There are regular, veggie and vegan options available at reasonable prices. All freshly made and served by dog loving friendly staff. So, next time you’re in the town take your four-legged friend for quick bite or cup of tea or coffee.
Nice little place. They cater for most dietary requirements and the selection of food is impressive, as well as the prices not being too bad. I had a strawberry and banana milkshake which was homemade and delicious. Service was a tad slow, but nice all the same. My only (very small) criticism is that the inside can be a bit stuffy in warmer weather. Not sure if they have air con or not? If not, a few pedestal fans would be great. Otherwise - will come again!
Well worth taking a few steps from the main shopping area to visit this cafe. There is nothing adventurous on the menu but the food is tasty and well presented. Staff are very happy and helpful. Wide variety of places to sit both ground floor and upstairs. Enjoyed the groovy music 🎶 Also works well for food to take out.
I’ve been here a few times now and it’s always lovely, the staff are very friendly and the food is all freshly made and very tasty. However I had a ploughman’s for the first time there today which I chose to have with Brie and cheddar cheese. It came with homemade chutney and coleslaw which were both amazing. The reason my score isn’t 5 star is due to the cheddar cheese being just the thin ready sliced mild cheddar slices. Very disappointing and unusual for a ploughman’s not to have a nice slab of mature cheddar. Hopefully this will change in the future…
🌷I love this place. Their fresh foods are just that, freshly cooked, freshly prepared.
🌷May I recommend their homemade soups, their sandwiches and jacket potato meals, all of which I've enjoyed.
🌷The homemade cakes are delicious and worth exploring.
🥀The only downside for me is that the toilet is up a flight of stairs which I cannot manage. However, being in the Arcade, there are toilets there and a lift to access them. These are clean and well maintained.
I have been to the Eden Cafe several times. The food is always delicious. It is prepared with care using fresh ingredients. I can highly recommend anything on the menu.
Arguably the best lunch I've had! Chicken and pesto ciabatta was sublime! The carrot cake is hands down the best I've ever had. The staff were amazing, very friendly and to top it off fair prices for the food! 10/10
Staff are really lovely, love that it is dog friendly cafe, it's nice to see the dogs enjoying some company and a comfy space, the only down side is the milk shakes are a bit watery as they contain ice
Gorgeous little cafe with a stunning roof terrace. Vegan and veggie friendly food and drinks. Well worth a visit
Eden Sandwich bar is a real gem, clearly very popular. Menu with plenty of choice including vegetarian and delicious home made food. Staff are extremely friendly and certainly will be using regularly.
Clean, friendly cafe just off the high street. Really lovely ham ploughman’s and a good sized mug of tea, hot baguettes. Menu looks good for lunch and takeaway, we shall visit again soon, we’ll done team,
Have eaten in eden several times.
Sometimes eat in, and sometimes take away. Staff are lovely. Food is very well
Priced, and is tasty. I do like how its tasty but healthy food. One of my favourites is the avocado and bacon ciabatta. Or the avo on toast if i am eating in.
The outside seating area for the centre of town is really quiet and peaceful. A very nice space to sit in and enjoy the food.
Had lunch here for second time today since moving into area. Lovely tucked away place, friendly and cheerful staff, decent food and coffee. A special mention for the Halloumi fries and chilli dip, they were the best we have ever had
Tasty breakfast, decent coffee and served with a smile.
Lovely cafe with loads of space and friendly staff. Eden is my favourite spot to pop in for lunch in Maidstone town. Highly recommend!
