Fastly becoming my go to curry house in Maidstone.
The food is good, not trying to be fancy, just cook what us Brits call a traditional curry, some of the chef's specials are a little different and worth a try, especially the Indian scotch egg for starters then get you taste buds tingling with the chicken tikka naga massalla, woah! hot!
The staff are super friendly without pestering every five minutes. I recommend that you guys go try it for yourself.
Quiet but efficient Indian restaurant in central Maidstone that can easily be combined with earlier drinks at Drakes or the Druids. No fancy, curry boutique decor just an old fashioned Indian restaurant. Service is always prompt and friendly and the food has a few interesting options as well as curry house staples. They have capacity for quite large and exuberant parties but the place is usually intimate. I recommend the chana massala and the huge quantities of lager.

My first visit to Tandoor Mahal was with a large group. I don't think one of us has/had a bad word to say about anything. The service was impeccable, considering how busy it was on the night. The food was delicious, served quickly, and everything was correct. The bill was more than reasonable too. I think for the thirteen of us it came to around £320/350. I'm looking forward to returning. Possibly the best Madras I've had in the last 4 years.
Always use them for eating out in Maidstone and never disappointed, tonight we had a take away which was amazing 10/10 top marks tonight

We have only just started to use this restaurant since moving to Maidstone from Gravesend. We have tried others in and around the town. Including take aways via just eat. This restaurant is by far the best tasting meal and the service is good. Well worth a visit.

Ordered a few dishes for collection today to try something new, everything was tasty and hot (even though we were a little late for collection). Will be ordering again and probably book a table soon as it looked really nice inside! Kiyen
