If you want to try Excellent Authentic Fish and Chips I'd HIGHLY recommend Lewis's Fish & Grill.
The only Chippy I've been to is not only amazing tasting chips but also a wide variety of other food.
They also have a Vegan / Vegetarian range which was delicious,
Our chips were sold in environmentally friendly packaging and there was no complaint over asking for an extra box for my young children to share the meal.
If there was a downside it's only that the parking was difficult and the place is set on a one way street.
Ordered haddock fish and lamb doner. I love the fish and chips, and I highly recommend the haddock. Despite having a sensitive stomach when it comes to fried foods, I've never experienced any issues with Lewis Fish and Chips. The fish doesn't have a fishy odor, which is great for people come from vegetarian background because I dislike it when it smells fishy. I also highly recommend the curry sauce. The portion of fish and chips is generous for a single person, and the staff is kind.
I don’t recommend the lamb doner, very dry, need more sauce. Not very flavourful.
Top quality fish, chips, onion rings and lots of extras (sauces etc). Really enjoyed a takeaway from Lewis’s. We would recommend it 100%.
Highly recommended. Look no further! The best fish and chips by far. Everything was above my expectations. The staff were friendly and the food was fresh. Large size kids meals and top quality food. Veggie and vegan options were delicious. My favourite mushy peas and curry sauce, I pray it never changes! Thank you!

This is a lovely little place with nice ambience, option to eat outside and a very friendly staff.
Everything was cooked well, tasty, nothing was too oily, and his hand made milkshake was simple amazing!
Just give it a try and you never will need another fish and chips place!
Had fish chips and a chicken burger. Burger was lovley and plenty of flavour. Will go back next time as there menu is large so plenty to choose from 👍🏼

Went in expecting a simple service but was surprised and enjoyed ordering our food, not to mention how good the chicken nuggets are, definitely coming again soon
Excellent food and service. Arrived 5 minutes before the shut and they were still happy enough to serve us. Food was amazing too!
