A very lovely pub with atmosphere and charm. This is a very friendly pub and the staff I can not fault. The food in here is lovely and good size portions, I have done walks starting and finishing at the pub many a time and they always welcome the dogs inside. They even have horse parking bays!

This has now become our local, Bingo, Quiz, Open mic are all great nights and the themed nights are fab. Halloween was a great night. The landlord/landlady are so welcoming and it feels like you are sitting in your lounge at home. Love this place. Fab atmosphere great for a nice drink and food is fab. would highly recommend. x

Really brilliant pub simple as that, I can't honestly find a fault location, staff, food, beer and regular theme nights all just very good, (it was a bit windy up on the hill when we camped the other weekend though ) But seriously we love it, it's definitely our favourite place at the moment and looking forward to coming back.

Another fabulous night at this cracking country pub. Wonderful atmosphere loved the live music after a yummy meal and a few glasses of wine. I love this little gem of English heaven. Friendly relaxed clean and beautifully decorated. It's everything a good pub should be no matter weather it's for a meal, lunchtime drinks or pit stop on a walk with the dogs.

Lovely afternoon to sut in the sun. Lunch was great, food was really good. Loved the cheese Ploughman's. There was lots of space for my daughter to play. My dog was equally happy relaxing in the sun. Really recommend

We had an amazing family meal last night! Lovely Sunday roast, and nothing was too much trouble. My 5 year old doesn’t stop talking and the waitress was amazing in chatting with her! Lovely food and lovely staff we will definitely be back!

What a great night last night for the fireworks took some friends for a meal and drinks and couldn't ask for more, don't really want to promote this great pub too much or we won't be able to get in when we can. But they deserve it They are a great crowd and always make you feel welcome with stuff going on all the time will differently have to try the quiz night and when our classic car is finished will be up on the show days

This is a great pub to visit, we've eaten here so many times. It's totally dog friendly inside and outside. The menus have a good selection on them and there is a good choice of drinks. Lots of places to sit; indoors, under the veranda outside or in the gardens. Why we love this pub is because it's right next to some excellent dog walking routes on the Hucking Estate. After a good walk you can sit and relax with a meal and watch people turn up with their dogs, horses, motorbikes, and even campervans. The staff have always been friendly and helpful, even when they are super busy. We'll be going back again soon.

This is a Lovely pub nicely situated in the North Kent downs. I've been here a couple of times and thoroughly enjoyed it. They have off road parking for all modes of transport including horses (honestly im not joking), The seating is plentiful, the staff are very friendly and welcoming and the food is delicious and well priced. There always seems to be something on, They have a bike night every Tuesday anybody is welcome but if you are on 2 wheels be it a pushbike or motorcycle you get a free curry, and tonight (friday) was music quiz night which was a good laugh, I definitely think iv found my new (not so) local. Plus they also offer camping overlooking the Kent downs its a must for the stargazers.

We had a brilliant experience here. We stayed on their camp site at the rear of the pub and enjoyed an amazing meal and the Friday night music quiz. The staff were amazing and the prices were very reasonable. We had a table booked for 7:30pm but due to traffic, we were late to arrive. We rang ahead and I think they kept the kitchen open for us. You don’t see customer service like this much. I think the head waitress was called Maddie? Amazing and bubbly person as well as all the staff. Thank you.

Recently stopped at the pub on our bikes and had an amazing breakfast. We opted for the large full English with two thick slices of toast, all cooked to perfection, lovely coffee too, we were so full it was hard to get back on the bikes!

Fantastic and quirky country pub in the middle of nowhere in Kent. We loved it, really relaxed atmosphere with families and locals alike. Food on a Sunday was lovely, and all really good prices. Staff were relaxed friendly and helpful. If you have a horse, it'll have its own parking bay complete with straw net. We were passing trade, but would definitely go again if back in the area.

I recently joined a friend here for lunch and enjoyed the true country atmosphere this delightful pub has to offer. The food was good, varied and reasonably priced. Large outdoor gardens with seating area and extremely dog friendly. Highly recommended.

What a wonderful pub! It is a place you can spend all day and just have the best time. They do live music and it is completely dog friendly! We came in as travelers on foot, and thankfully the wonderful staff went out of their way to ensure we got safely home that evening! Jimmy was a true angel as well as everyone else. It is a very special place, we can't wait to go back!!!

Cracking pub in a lovely secluded location, we stayed camping in their field. We have a large tent but managed to get it onto one of their pitches with electricity... the site is a little uneven, but manageable! The showers and toilets were good, kept nice and clean but owing to large numbers of teenage guests they did get a slight mucky overnight... nothing too horrific by any means and like I said, once cleaned the following day they were really neat and tidy! Onto the pub, well it was lovely, really nice outside seating areas and a couple of good seating areas inside, enjoyed all of the food, which was well cooked, only gripe would be a slightly overdone steak but still tasted nice!

What a hidden gem this place is! Stumbled across it completely by accident but had a weekend great vibe. Food was spot on with generous portions. Staff were brilliant and there is a camping field out back too. If you get the chance, stop here, you wont regret it. Thanks to everyone at the H&H!

Great public house with restaurant, indoor and outdoor seating, camping field next door to pub garden. Bench style seating to one side with a covered seating area for more formal meals, plenty of tables inside too. Very friendly staff with a great location, small carpark with free parking. Single lane roads leading to the location next to walking trails, can be busy in summer, disabled and dog friendly, well worth a visit

1st time I've visited this pub and it was lovely. Its a bit of the beaten track, especially in the pitch black but we found it eventually. Lovely big carpark, huge garden and even somewhere to leave your horse. The staff are friendly and polite. Very nice atmosphere and we will be going again.

Little gem. Had live music when stumbled upon it due to lack of parking for large vehicles, so we ended up at this beautiful country pub with unrestricted parking. They had an Elvis tribute day starting from 2pm. We bought 2 hallumi sandwiches which came with vegetable crisps and a salad on side, coffee, wine, and cheesey chips for a little over £22. The food was very generous and great after our long walk. The pub provided maps of the various routes around Huckling Estate and said we were welcome to park there all day. They also provide a small campsite out back. The pub was very busy enjoying the music and summer sun. Would go back. We were so fortunate to stumble upon this place. It is also dog friendly providing water for dogs and treats at the bar. Plus ample seating outside. Only downside was the limited vegetarian food options but still something available even if not an abundant choice.

Staying in Kent nearby, dropped in on the way home for a couple of drinks. Had our dog with us. Great pub with friendly atmosphere and very dog friendly with treats on the bar. Would definitely call in again.

First time coming here and it was a random decision to try something new with a mate. I'm not sure what I was expecting but I've got to say it was brilliant. The pie of the day was incredible, Bailey's cheesecake was delicious and all reasonably priced. Looking at the agenda for the coming month looked like they had lots going on in the coming weeks as well. Combine this with the beautiful rural location, a country park next door for nice walks and the staff being incredibly helpful and cheerful. This truly is a hidden gem and I'll certainly be returning

Love it. Super dog friendly, lovely atmosphere, and in the middle of beautiful countryside. Its the first time I've seen genuine horse "parking" places, with hay for them to eat as well. Food was delicious and staff were smiling and friendly.

Visited for an Elvis tribute act night which was extremely well put on. Plenty of seating inside and out. Inside and outside bars were very convenient for how busy the venue was and made waiting times for drinks a reasonable time.
