A little gem of a place with great food/drink options and all at a reasonable price.
Just what the park needs. Very friendly owners, ice creams, snacks, tea, coffee and this year they started doing a great selection on hot food. Sorry I don't do long reviews!
Love love love this place. Living local and with my family near by, we often meet here with the kids in summer.
They serve AMAZING food and at a decent price. Waiting times are not too bad, but the queues can get a little long on hot days.
If I was to be overly critical I would like to see the following, although not all possible:
- More seating and tables
- More than one till or faster till service
- Sale of alcohol (probably not possible given the type of venue and area, but I like a drink, so it's in my list lol)
If I could recommend anything it would be the cheese chips with the selection of dipping sauces. Absolutely out of this world!
Brilliant cafe that knocks the spots off the previous management years back. Prices are very very reasonable, the menu is enormous and the staff are really lovely, helpful, friendly people. Couldn't ask for more. If you don't order the onion rings you're missing out!
Thanks Jason & Issac for some yummy food the other day when I came for coffee with my Indian friend.. Filling chips and my friend enjoyed her mango sorbet & now she has discovered Mr whippy ice cream with a chocolate flake I'm sure this will be a regular meeting spot for us!! ππππ It's Great that you are open till 7pm as alot of the local cafes all close by 4.30pm - 5pm ... THE ONLY THING LACKING IS A COVERED SEATING AREA FROM THE RAIN!!?? ππ¦...ALL you need is a Big, Thick bit of Tarpaulin you can throw over the roof of the already solid wood structure that is there and then you can STILL sit there and ENJOY MR WHIPPY even if the heavens open up.

Amazing little place and what they have to offer is top class. I had a gorgeous orange hot choc and the best tasting bacon baguette. Will definitely be back!
