Beautiful pub with fantastic food, friendly and helpful staff. Turned up 'on spec' and immediately was found a table for two with 94 y/o Mum. She thoroughly enjoyed the linguine so can recommend! My chicken caesar was good too, but the date butter on warm sourdough made my gastronomic evening!

Can't say enough good things about this pub. Great selection of beers, wonderful staff, and the grilled chicken is awesome. Our favorite Maidenhead pub.
Update 9 Oct 22: the pub has just added a Sunday Roast to the menu on Sundays. I have to say, I was not a fan of this British favorite, but since I had the one at the Maidens Head, I am now a fan. I was very impressed. I'll be back next Sunday.
Love this place, especially on a Friday and Saturday night when the live music is on, plus they have a great Gin selection 😊
Really cool place needs lots of support. So go through and enjoy a good wine or a cold one on tap great live music over the weekends too. Oh yes, and the chicken, next.LEVEL!!!! WOW!
Very good pub food, we had The Double Daddy and the Smoky Bacon, both very tasty, good portion and the fries were delicious! The service is quick.
The staff is very friendly, helpful and attentive!
Covid friendly - tables are clean after every customer, appropriate social distance is in place. The toilets were clean with enough hand soap and toilet paper.
I would highly recommend! 👌

Well presented, clean, very friendly - good mix of people (older vs youngsters), live music and fantastic atmosphere. Food is good and very reasonable too.
Great pub in the town centre. Good selection of well kept beers, decided to stay on for food and more drinks. Large well kept outside area. Highly recommended.

Came in for lunch on a Thursday lunchtime and can’t praise this arrangement enough! Delicious food from the Gourmet Chicken Company within a comfortable and relaxed pub which friendly staff. It’s table service due to government guidelines which I think actually improves the customer experience. I really hope that after the lockdown ends this can return as it works brilliantly!
They were really friendly and accommodating when we had a large family booking today. The food was insanely good. We ordered chicken wings which were cooked to perfection, the burger was one of the best my brother had in a long time. The roast looked amazing and all of this was inflation busting value. This is definitely a hidden gem in Maidenhead.
Good well kept beers and friendly staff went in early on a Monfay evening so very quiet, but, sadly, that's the new norm in 2023.
