A large pub , but felt warm and cosy . Busy but friendly vibe. Huge mixed grill for a mere £12.99! Can't wait to return:) All those moaning should go to the Savoy if they want service . What do they expect for £10 a meal? Marvelous value for pub grub
Haven't been here for years been done up lovely great atmosphere an the food was gorgus had pate for starters an chicken an mushroom pie with mash too full to have a dessert enjoyed every thing about it staff very friendly will be coming here again the girls liked their food as well xxx

Had a lovely tea here last night. Excellent value. We had the 2 course Dinner menu. Good service and friendly staff. Would definitely eat here again!
Had a lovely meal last night with family and friends. Staff were very attentive and friendly. Really enjoyed the live music too. All in all, a great night out.

Had a lovely 2 course Sunday lunch, chicken & beef were lovely and plenty of trimmings on the plate. Deffo return to try the rest of the menu!

First time visiting this pub for all of us. Nice enough atmosphere and the food was OK. The best part about our lunch was the desert.
A female member of staff couldn't be bothered to get an extra bowl for the pasta for my friends toddler. She said "the kitchen is too far and we don't cater for children"!
If the pub doesn't cater for children, then I wonder why the pub has high chairs specifically for children 🤔 🙄
Customer service is key and I can only put it down to the fact that the female member of staff didn't want to deal with my interacial couple and their children. Such a shame.

As a regular to this pub the food is always great and service is always friendly and quick. I would recommend visiting this pub.

Love this pub, friendly atmosphere as soon as you walk in bar staff so friendly and welcoming, lovely beer gardern which is a great suntrap for customers, food was lovely and my partner said his was lovely too definitely worth checking this treasure out
My friend & myself come here every Thursday for lunch, we have been doing so for quite some time now. Pub always spotlessly clean & at the moment very cosy, lovely fires on the go & heating on also, unlike other pubs! The food is always spot on, never had an issue with it. Atmosphere lovely, made more so by the girls & boys doing the waiting on, bar etc. I’m unsure of all their names but today we had the very pleasant & friendly Charlie, who took the time out to make sure that we had everything we needed & that all was well with our food. Thank you Charlie you made two Silver Seniors ladies very happy. 👍😁
The service was exemplary and the waiters were fantastic. The staff are a credit to your organisation. We all loved the food and will definitely come back. Thank you for having us
Nice pub, always busy. Food usually ok but this time it was awful. The burger was rock hard and cold, cold chips, all sent back. Alternative offered but didn't risk it so went hungry. Vegans paid for a full meal but only got burger and salad, no chips so they were left a bit hungry. We've decided to still go for drinks but not food

Staff amazing and welcoming to our party of 12 ladies. Food great and hot but carrots and parsnips needed more cooking. Otherwise it was all great. Colin and Charlie were always there to look after us.
Well, this was the very first pub I frequented - in 1972 as a 16-year old !! After 3 Brown Bitters and a Rum & Black I was anybody's :-) It was a great place back then and I'm delighted to see it lives on. Maybe I'll get the chance to visit one more time next time I'm in the UK before the reaper comes a calling.
Lovely beer garden, Steph and the staff were so welcoming will definitely be coming back again this summer

Been before. This visit was for a birthday. Nice place, although cold with doors opening and shutting.
No lasagne which is our grandsons favourite. Apart from this a good night.
Good choice of food when available not to expensive . Nice pub for quiet meal
Only issue was the wait. I was informed before I ordered, but they should've said no. I waited 45 mins for my starter, then a further 1 hr for my main course. Food was excellent, beer was reasonably priced, pub was immaculate, service was excellent. Only spoiled by the waiting. Better to have lost a potential customer than to serve one who won't be happy.
