Took a really long time to get two coffees, really nice interior, staff were friendly place allows dogs which worked out well for me because they were really cute, my friend has an allergy however and struggled a bit as the place got crowded. The coffee was strong, and really good, came with a little biscuit. There are steps inside so not sure the bar side is wheelchair accessible, didn't head into the restaurant though so not sure about that side, pleanty of seating and a very country cottage feel. There is parking but not much, easily accessible by foot. Some lovely walks close by too.

Decent pub food and good selection of drinks. I had the Steak Pie and Chips and was very impressed with both. Excellent chips. My wife is veggie and while there wasn't as big a selection on the Sunday menu as there would have been in the week there were still 3 or so options. In the end she went for a pasta and tomato sauce cheesy bake which was nice. My Dad had the fish and chips which was very fresh, light crispy batter, and not at all greasy.

Food here is top class. Fantastic quality and generous portions. Service with a smile doesn't even begin to cover it. The staff are amazing. So friendly and welcoming. There's lots of seating whether you want one of the cosy snugs, the larger restaurant or a table in one of the gardens, there's something to suit everyone.

Great service in a very rustic pub. Large choice of food on the menu with well cooked quality ingredients at a level more than acceptable for what you'd expect. Plenty of space inside as well as outside in a medium sized beer garden.

This is great for food - for ales and for relaxing with your family and dog friendly too. Opposite the lake in the village and pretty authentic
