Lovely setting and staff. The food was decent. The chicken was moist. The pulled pork burger well seasoned and the ribs very tender even if I the sause was not to my taste. The cerliac remoulade- that I did not get.

Didn't do bar 27. Did watch the match today though. And met the woman who does the pies. Apparently she only did 150 today. 500 for the first league match. Thank the Lord..
Great value sunday roast today. Starter and main but too full for desert. It needs more inviting signage outside and clearer idea for where to park but once inside, service was great and food was well presented and good quality.
Lovely place, nice and clean and the food was lovely and good portions. Paying was tricky when splitting the bill for a large party, however, the young gentleman who was trying to help should have had more assistance from his manager. He was very polite and apologetic, would definitely return again.
It's a nice venue. The seats are really comfortable. We were there whilst my son was doing football training. We had tea and Guinness. The staff seemed friendly enough.
I'd be interested to see what the venue is like on a match day.
Visited on a matchday. Every member of staff were really polite and helpful. A real community feeling which you can't buy. Clean and efficient at the bar. The food looked amazing, will definitely book in for a meal

Watched Macclesfield FC. Win the league from Bar Twenty Seven. Fantastic Bar, very comfortable, great atmosphere.
Guinness is good - when you can get it! Always seems to be a problem; maybe I'm just unlucky. Need to dust the light fittings above the bar. Apart from these niggles it's a good place to be - if you're into footy that is!

Nice setting, great for watching sport there’s no place better in macc, and good to watch the football out on the pitch
The waitresses were attentive and the food arrived quickly
To start- chicken wings and halloumi fries- wings were tastey and the blue cheese sauce was nice, halloumi fries were also good, a shame there wasn’t more but it is only a starter
Mains- we both had burgers, the MFC burger is a double Pattie, and the patties were good quality and cooked well. We also had the pulled pork burger which was nice
Overall I’d say really good food and drink, no major complaints, we benefited from the January 2-4-1 main deal too
Lovely ambiance, foid & staff. Slight delays around the bar area for drinks, this is expected during match times but othe times need to ba addressed. Would highly recomed for dining.
An absolutely wonderful Mothers Day meal with my daughter. Food amazing, service couldn't have been better, and good value for money. Will definitely be going again.
Didn't have food, best football bar.
We went for a meal on Friday the outside looked like it wasn't open needs to be more kerb appealing. Asked for a gin and tonic, was given it in a half pint glass with no fruit when asked for a gin glass was told they did not have any, considering it is a new upto date wine bar found it unbelievable that had none, had to have it in a wine glass. Food hot and okay just average
Looks and feels a lot better than the old Mcilroy suit . The food was cooked well but nothing caught your eye. Maybe more of the chwfs input would be a good thing. I don't think a chef designed the menu myself but overall It was nice and I will go again.
I went for a meal on sunday and it was brilliant, i had fillet steak lovelly. Parents had roast dinner and they loved it. Is pricey but worth every penny.
This place has an amazing atmosphere and great food. Staff are friendly and so helpful this place is a must to anyone looking for great food and drinks. The cocktails are amazing can’t wait to book again
Best place in the town. The food is amazing, every day and the match-day experience is incredible. Full marks to the bar staff and Lucy in the kitchen
