What an unbelievable experience 30 years ago I went to live in Spain 23 years ago I came home 6 weeks ago I moved to Macclesfield and tonight you took me back to Spain the food was unbelievable and that is not a good enough word to describe it me and my partner had a wonderful evening and we met three young men one from Bollington one was a QPR fan and one from Exeter lovely to meet you the only thing I can say is please don't play English music because we're coming back and I'm going to bring all my friends and family please when I walk into a tapas bar I want to hear flamenco music the gypsy Kings and its got to be loud really loud thank you for a fantastic evening and I'll see you soon gracious
Great food. Spanish themed decor. Pleasant evening and good value for money.
Been for drinks a couple of times before but never eaten till today was not disappointed absoulty gorgeous will definitely be going back again.
It was a bit quiet when we went in but the food was outstanding and the service was very good. Great value for money also. Woukdnt think twice about going again - thanks for a lovely meal 👍
Absolute little gem in the centre of Macclesfield. Nice relaxed atmosphere. We went Friday night, not too busy no need to book. Fantastic authentic Spanish tapas. Easy going tapas cafe bistro - well worth a visit 🇪🇦
If you like tapas, then La Caldera will not disappoint. Serving some very authentic home cooked tapas at reasonable prices. Convenient location in the centre of Macclesfield with many other bars and restaurants around to choose from. The interior has more of a bar/bistro feel, so don't expect a restaurant atmosphere. This isn't a down side however, as it makes it feel even more authentic.
Great Tapas Bar, family owned (by talented Chef Yajaira & restaurant manager Ernesto), and that's why it is so authentic, genuine & friendly. I have been at La Caldera several times, and by now I think I have tried every single dish. I love them all, but if I could recommend any, I would say that the following 3 are pretty much unmissable: Gambas al Ajillo, Tequenos and, of course, Churros con Chocolate to finish a great lunch or dinner. Ps: there is also an amazing vine selection & draft beers for all tastes.
Had two lovely meals here in the past 2 weeks ..Staff are very friendly. Couldn't fault any of the food we had .. Please everybody give it a try . Best cookef Calamari ive ever had . Jusr bring back Albondigas please
Unfortunately we were the only people in the restaurant so no atmosphere, food just ok some dishes barely warm
Just took a punt on this place and loved it. Great food, good selection of Spanish beers and wines and nice atmosphere.
