Only minor criticism is I would've liked a bit more salt and vinegar on the chips (I always ask for "plenty")
The shop could do with renovations, but the food was really nice and they are open later than most fish and chip shops.
Staff/owners are ALWAYS lovely and polite! Food is always nice and mostly fresh. From what iv seen the kitchen area is always clean dispite the waiting area being a little tatty.
