It was our first time coming here, we came as a family of 6. As we arrived we was told there may be a wait, which we didn’t mind as it was a busy Friday night. As we were waiting, the very lovely couple offered a round of drinks for our wait, provided the children with some nibbles and free ice cream all on the house, they both were so friendly and very apologetic. (I didn’t even think we waited too long)
The food was to die for! Well worth the small wait. Best service and food in macc by far! We will definitely be returning. If I could rate any higher I would! Thanks again for an incredible evening, beautiful food and it was an absolute pleasure to meet you both! Lovely, lovely people!! 😍🥰
First time visit for me and 13 yr old DD today with hubby who's been several times before. Had a lovely meal; dough balls, Pizzas x 3, cheesecake x 2- one vegan which hubby said was delicious. Great selection of beers on offer. Charlotte Day performing live - lovely voice. Owner really welcoming to everyone, place has a great atmosphere and good eclectic music selection as well. Really enjoyed. Definitely visit again.
Excellent pizza! Ordered online and arrived within 25 minutes. Very tasty pizza one of the best pizzas I have tried in Macclesfield. Also a free gift! Only just tried this place and will be returning for sure. Would recommend excellent food and excellent service. Thank you! Also a 5*** food hygiene rating
Best pizza anywhere. Give it a go if you aren’t sure! The beer selection wasn’t great on the day I went. Lots of strong beer but the keg light beer made up for it 🎉🎉

Absolutely superb establishment. Pizza is delicious and there's a great selection to pick from. Good selection of beer (especially the Happy Valley stuff they make themselves) and cocktails. The staff and service are excellent and the pub itself is really comfortable and welcoming. Best place in macclesfield for beer and pizza. Would highly recommend the Hoppiness.

We've eaten here a few times the atmosphere is very welcoming and they go out of there way for you and the pizzas are just amazing iv never been a pizza lover and iv been converted 😂 .
The home brewed IPA is so nice and the gin they distil is definitely worth a try if your a gin lover .
Great offers when eating in too definitely recommend giving them a visit this is now one of my top 5 places to eat xx
The whole experience here was fantastic. The pizza was phenomenal and the beers (from their own brewery) were immense. Definitely recommend dining in as it's a very friendly atmosphere and the staff are really cheerful and helpful.

Good pub with its own on-site brewery (the hand-pumped stout was superb) and freshly prepared pizzas. Definitely worth a visit.
Brilliant service, super polite and the food matched the experience. I ordered The Caramelt and hands down the best pizza I have had in a long time!! If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I'm just so sorry to the guy as we live in a very random place which we apologise for
