Lovely meal and cocktails at Alfred's, have already been back for more
Tonight was my first time here. Lilly dealt with my rum allergy, above and beyond. After ordering cocktails that I thought I’d like. I didn’t enjoy so they gave me alternatives. Jamie the bar man was a lifesaver tonight and I loved my cocktails after further adjustments . Julia talked through it all and was so welcoming and homely. Thank you to all the staff for creating such a welcoming and open atmosphere where I felt comfortable to address my allergies. I would definitely return again. Not only is the atmosphere good but the staff are amazing and a credit to the business
Holly and Alice were absolutely fantastic - we had a wonderful night in Alfred’s and the atmosphere was more than expected!
We will definitely be coming back as we had a lovely night & the food was divine!!!

Lovely, lively place but our food orders were mixed up. The bar staff are brilliant but they need more people - waiting ten minutes to order on a busy Saturday night is not good.
Came across by accident. Been twice this week first time just called for a pint of cask ale. Second time for some food as well, what a really nice burger! 🤤🤤🤤 and it was big too. Definitely back when I'm next in the area. Even got a shout bye from the staff as I was leaving.
Visited on Tuesday afternoon. Lovely, not busy. Sat outside with superb coffee- which was brought outside for us. Basked in the autumn sun...
Had really nice cocktails and very good gin selection. Staff were friendly and quick service.

Nice atmosphere, they have a few different beers available and also do cocktails. Food is above average for a bar.

I stopped by on the recommendation of a good local friend. I was not disappointed - the food was very good, the service was polite and friendly and whilst the wait for food to come out felt a little long, it’s completely understandable when the food was so good.
Can definitely recommend for anyone looking for a nice meal.
