Staying at the Legh Arms is a must if in the area. The booking process was very easy and I had an important meeting the next day. They reserved the snug form me at no additional cost which made an excellent meeting area. Good car park and easy and welcoming check-in. The really nice touch was be
Gorgeous old English building, with rooms above the pub. Great atmosphere in the pub and the rooms were clean with plenty of refreshments, tea/coffee making facilities. Staff were welcoming and helpful. We travelled with 2 kids (aged 1 and 4). The room was spacious even with the toddler bed and cot.
Beautifully restored building. Very comfortable and atmospheric. Good choices on evening menu. Nice meal with prompt friendly service. Stayed overnight on B&B basis. Good sized comfortable standard room and bathroom. Bathroom ready for upgrading/redecorating but more than adequate.
We came for a Sunday roast which was phenomenal! Quality of the beef was superb. Staff were friendly, efficient and attentive. We live 12 miles away but it’s worth the commute. Will definitely recommend to friends and family.
A great pub, really unique and finished to a high standard. Fab variety of seating, booths, high backed chairs and comfortable chairs, so every table is a treat. A good sized beer garden too, with plenty of seating - if the weather stays dry enough to enjoy. I appreciated the choice of beers and the
Went today for Sunday lunch with my dad, great food and excellent service. Highly recommend and big shot out to out to our lovely waitress Paige who was very friendly and helpful 😂. Will definitely be back. Many thanks
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here it feels cosy, welcoming and friendly. The Private car park at the rear leads to the beer garden and rear entrance. The bar is spacious and offers all sorts of beverage. Waiting staff make you feel welcome and take time to run through whatever specials they have. The
Lovely pub with a pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff. Good quality food but small portions. Had crab to start and it was 3 tiny pieces of toast with crab on (£8-95). Main course of sea bass and prawns (£19-95) and it was very good quality but hardly any veg. 3 halves of small new potatoes and a
Really great place to stay - the people were so welcoming and helpful, the rooms were excellent. We have already booked to return. One of the nicest places I have stayed in - felt very much at home. Nothing too much trouble.
Staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. Room was clean, very comfortable and spacious. Atmosphere, service and food at dinner and breakfast were all very good. Easy parking too!
We were visiting the local area from Scotland and searched online to find a place for dinner during our stay. We visited the Legh Arms for dinner on 27th July and loved the atmosphere of the place, the friendly and welcoming staff and of course the food! We enjoyed our night that much that we return
From the moment we arrived at the Legh Arms we were welcomed by the friendly team. Everything and everywhere was spotless and the atmosphere was warm and happy. Terry, the General Manager was so helpful from the table we wanted to sit at for dinner, late night ham sandwiches and providing irons an
We had an absolutely wonderful stay here! The room was lovely, beautiful service (thank you to John and the team) and the breakfast was delicious. Not to mention a fantastic atmosphere! Could not give five stars more wholeheartedly… will definitely be back!
Good choice of beers and the service was efficient. Food was beautifully cooked, but I ordered the sea bass with prawns, which was only served with 3 chunks of courgette, one and 1/2 new potatoes and 4 cherry tomatoes. Now, I don't have a particularly large appetite ,but even I thought the vegetable
We had a lovely meal, the staff are so wonderful. Just disappointed that the menu we viewed online wasn't available. That said, we all pronounced the chips the best we have ever had! So lovely and crisp on the outside and fluffy inside.
John was super efficient and friendly. Room and view charming. Bed, linen, shower and bathroom all very high quality. Breakfast was delicious.
Had a wonderful weekend here with my daughter. A newly refurbished pub with beautiful decor, roomy, well appointed accommodation, excellent food and friendly, helpful staff. Set in a lovely village. Highly recommended.
