Brilliant take away. The proprietor is fantastic always pleasant and remembers a name. Always good food at a competitive price too! (Can always ask.for extra crackers and they will give it too you for free :))
Great food and nice service, but the goldfish in the tiny tiny tank is the saddest and cruelest thing. Please get a bigger fish tank or let them go to somewhere that has the space for them before I buy from you again :)

I was visiting the area with my partner, we decided to have a chinese and based on the reviews we chose the Mandarin House. The food was outstanding, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. I highly recommend this place. π
This is the best Chinese takeaway in Macclesfield, in my opinion. Eaten from here many times, the food has always been excellent. Just finished another meal and it was great as always. Try the smoked chicken.
A beautiful meal to complete our visit to the area, and it was only around the corner. Having read the Google reviews about this establishment, we were looking forward to meeting Margaret and we were not disappointed! She even took our order over the phone in a friendly way, and on collection of our order she was kind and charming. The food was as good as weβve ever had - it always seems unfair to compare with your favourite place at home, but this did well.
I would happily travel out of my way to eat from here again.

The food was very yummy, at an affordable price and was ready in 10 minutes to pick up after I ordered. When I got there the lady was very polite and lovely to talk to. Definitely put a smile on my face.

Really friendly staff tasty food
We chose Mandarin House for our 'first night of holiday' takeaway based on their top food hygiene rating. We were not disappointed. The lady behind the counter was very friendly and the food was honestly probably the best Chinese takeaway I've ever had. It wasn't too greasy or salty, just delicious. Would happily recommend them and return again next time we're in the area.

I came across the Mandarin while working in the area recently. Food was delicious and portions very generous. Margaret behind the counter is charming and funny. Worth a visit just to meet Margaret. Best Chinese in the area. Will definitely return if back in the area.
Best chinese food in town and within at least a 10 mile radius. I have tried as many as I can find & Margaret and her husband definitely have the edge starting with their customer service through to the finished product which is fine cuisine. Margaret is forever welcoming & has become a dear friend over the years of visiting her takeaway. I cannot recommend this place enough. Try it out. You won't regret it. π

Mandarin House has a fantastic menu of delicious Chinese and Asian food, expertly cooked by Margaret and her team. Always friendly service and Margaret will ensure dishes are cooked exactly how you like them, including if you have allergies. The Singapore Noodles are delicious and chilli ribs totally moreish. Great food great prices can get busy at weekends but it's worth it
