Chesters - Macclesfield - Photo album

There is a small step inside despite it being described as wheelchair accessible. The food and staff were great. It does have a 70s vibe... but in a classy lovely way. My Daughter loved the dessert trolley (A unique concept to her). Despite it being on a busy road you don't hear the traffic at all
We have always enjoyed a visit to Chester's restaurant. Service is always very good indeed. Food is good too. Prices are about what you'd expect to pay at a proper local restaurant. Never going to be as cheap as many pubs, but.... it isn't a pub, and it's not a microwave meal either. So if you want
Great service and food. Really liked the fact that there was a sweet trolley, you never really see that any more. Was part of a big 50th celebration, and they catered for us all really well. Will most definitely be going to visit this restaurant again sometime in the near future. T
Excellent option if you are dining in Macclesfield. The best place I have eaten in for UK/European style food here. The food is traditional English fare from an 80s/90s era, but all is done very well indeed. It isn't very trendy and there are no kids options per se, but the cake tray is superb and
A traditional but slightly dated restaurant. Food outstanding and service is always excellent. Peppe is a perfect host and always makes time to speak to all customers even when very busy. Fantastic wine list with many quality wines but limited choice of draught beers. By far the best restaurant in
Chesters has kept going all these years because it serves the fabulous traditional meals we all love. The reception you receive is always very welcoming. Always leave very full, think that may have something to do with the amazing sweet trolley !! Can never resist... 😊
Very nice traditional restaurant with a good reputation for food & service. Particularly like the old fashioned sweet trolley with over a dozen offers, all 1st class. Recommended
33 years on and still my favourite restaurant. The quality of the food is always fantastic and we always a lovely evening with friendly staff. Would not hesitate to recommend.
In my opinion Macclesfield's #1 Restaurant. Had a wonderful Sunday lunch with my wife to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and as always, the hospitality, service and food was excellent. Not had a complaint about Chesters in over 30 years of dining there. The Sunday 3 course meal for 2, with coff
Traditional restaurant, which nowadays is hard to find, in a sea of contemporary eating establishments. Rare to find anybody who can Flambe's food or offer such an extensive sweet trolley. Worthy of visit.
Great little restaurant with an traditional feel. I live in Birmingham but if I could make this a regular eating house I would. Macclesfield should be proud to have such a restaurant.
Fantastic place with great food and great characters. The dishes the cook next to your table are a nice touch and the deserts are incredible.
Our favourite restaurant in Macclesfield. Food, ambience, decor, service - all second to none. Having a meal at Chesters is a real treat - highly recommended.
I'll keep it brief ! GREAT Food , Good service and a Peppe is a great host! Highly recommended 1st time I've been and will definitely be going again.
Very nice food, really chilled atmosphere and very friendly owner who goes out of his way to have a chat with you and deliver anything you require regarding food variations.
