Despite What Pub claiming this was closed we were happy to find them open. Friendly micro bar close to railway Station. Beers for all tastes. Lovely pint from Notts Castle Rock.On the Spritz. Ginger n Elderflower.. very refreshing.

Brilliant find, I had 30 mins, to get in, get fed & get out as I had the last train to catch to London. I asked the staff how long 10mins, let’s do it & im glad I did the food was delicious! When I have more time I’ll savour the ambience & enjoy a cider with it too🤘🏼

One of best places in Macc. Real ale. Belgian beer. Great pies. And good atmosphere. Nothing more needed!

Cosy, little bar selling a great selection of bottled beers, particularly Belgian. Decent food available if you like pie peas and mash and deli style platters with cold meats. Games and books available as well as regular social events. Worth noting location is on a street affected by anti social drivers, so do take care.

3 of us popped in (and stayed) whilst we were over to watch Buxton play Macc. Lovely beer, very welcoming, the pies are superb. Even went for another after the football. Cheers

Small venue but really nice with friendly staff. Food available with speciality being a varied selection of pies. Not your normal everyday pies however! Has a good selection of local brewery beers and you can also get tea and coffee.Nice, clean surroundings.and can be family orientated in the day but more of a drinkers pub at night as can get quite crowded. .Situated on a busy road but there is a public car park at the back of the premises .Worth a try if you like a pub with a nice atmosphere and no telly blaring out while you are trying to talk.

Great little pub. Fantastic quiz on a Sunday Night. Cash prices. Several events on during the week. Food's alright, a little expensive but well worth the pennies.

They offer some of the best pies around. Incredible range of bottled beers and always a nice selection available on draft. One small drawback is that the premises are somewhat small and so it can get cramped in here.

The bad: it's tiny (no, I mean, really tiny). But that's it... For the remainder: some of the best pies you will find anywhere and a seriously great selection of beers (they even have my beloved Flensburger on tap). They also put on tons of activities, from foreign language societies to music and everything in between. Lovely, little place!

Fantastic bar, great beer and prices. A first time visit for us as we were in Macclesfield for a wedding reception but definitely be back. Cheers Daz

Micropub serving craft cask and keg beers from across the UK. Stripped back interior, weekly events and a short menu of sharing platters, pies and small plates elevate this pub above the competition.

We went for just a drink a bit later on but it was still an excellent place to go. Not only was the beer awesome but the guy running the pub was so enthusiastic, helpful, and friendly, it was a pleasure to be served by him.

Drinking a well kept pint of awesome Squak session IPA. Always a great selection of beer here even though it's only 3 pumps .. Landlord chooses wisely and wonderfully. Food also good but very small menu and a tad pricey imo

Quality little micro-pub located near to the town's rail station in the lower section of the town. Sister pub is in Congleton. Narrow but fairly deep interior, boarded floor and a good display of local artists art on the walls. Always three cask ales on. Recommended.
