It may be pricey but it’s an extremely lovely location to eat indoors or out in the beautiful garden. Plenty of free parking and lovely grounds to wander in pre or post meal. We had Sunday lunch and the food was just so beautiful. The beef tender, great sized portions and the service was attentive

This is probably one of my favourite pubs in the area. Lovely food, great atmosphere with lots of different rooms and areas for sitting. Dog friendly and overall friendly and capable staff. Not far from the canal so a great place to stop for a drink if you're out on a walk. Highly recommended.
Great place for a drink (and food but we didn’t eat) on a sunny day. Garden is beautiful and well set out with picnic style tables.

The staff, especially Laura, couldn’t do enough. The food was delicious. Highly recommend the roast beef (possibly the best I’ve ever had), everything cooked to perfection and the service was flawless from start to finish. Beautiful setting, well worth a visit
