Great food ans big portionz but a bit on the expensive side. Great service, rustic design, very vibrant and great for families and children. Very busy at lunch time when people actually queue to get a place. We queued for about 15 minutes once and were stood outside but still waited to get a table because the food is great
My wife and i met a friend for coffee. Very welcoming. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. My wife knows her cappuccino and she said hers was a good one. Highly recommended. Will definitely return soon.
We haven't been in for a while but even in these different times it's still really good. The tables have been set out well with well designed screens between them. Service is good, friendly and attentive. Most importantly the food is great, a simple thing that makes a good cooked breakfast great is toast and they have it, fab bread! Keep up the good work!!
Regularly visit with family and friends. Great that you now have the option of an alcoholic beverage if you fancy. I usually stick with the filter coffee- why Ness with perfection.
The soups are always delicious- love the white onion but all are good. My daughter always asks for cheese and ham toastie with either skin on or sweet potato fries and a strawberry milkshake. She thinks they are the best in Macc. Breakfasts are equally good as are the burgers. Always good 👍 👌
Fantastic cafe. The food is really delicious, big portions and all locally sourced. The staff are always very friendly and welcoming. Kids menu is great too.
Excellent service and food, strongly recommend visiting. The ultimate burger is really tasty and put together well, would go as far as saying it's one of the best burgers I've ever had. The staff are extremely friendly and genuine, also surprised to get free refills on my coffee and generous portions. It is a little more expensive than other cafés but the attention to detail makes it good value.
Good quality, pleasant place to get a bite to eat. Been coming here a very long time, mostly for Breakfast, variety has improved over the years though my favourite Breakfast Ciabatta has dropped off the menu, and like a lot of places the portion size goes down (or to a more healthy size😉) and the price goes up. Gets very busy so often have to queue outside to get a table. Free Coffee top ups is a nice touch and lollipops for the kids.

Went for lunch with my daughter today as her chosen treat.Prices on the high side but food came quickly, was fresh and tasted delicious. Lovely atmosphere and staff were lovely and friendly. Made to feel very welcome and didn't feel rushed in the slightest like in some places.
It's at least a couple of years since we last dined here. Our meals consisted of a salmon burger in a bun with a salad and chips. Coffee refills. Lovely staff.
As a bit of a coffee addict, I frequent cafes regularly and my usual favourite is Rhode Island. However, I had a latte from here only yesterday and it's already taken RI's place as my number one favourite, it's absolutely delicious. I won't be able to visit as often as I'd like as I live over an hour away, but whenever I come back I'll be sure to try and pop in! Kudos to the barista for the coffee. I don't know her name but I heard she was pretty young. Oh, and the waffles are wonderful, as was the amazingly quick service! Can't wait to come back!
As always. Excellent staff and service and great atmosphere and yet again another lovely lunch. Have yet to try a slice of cake, but always full.....one day maybe.

Just popped in for a takeaway coffee. So busy - speaks volumes for the quality! Why bother with chain rubbish when you can have proper coffee from a local business. Will definitely come back for food!
