Great little bar and restaurant offering a fab selection of small plate foods from around the world. Always have a good selection of drinks on, especially gins! I have had private parties here too and everyone has commented on how tasty the food is and how friendly and polite the staff are. Dog friendly too with their resident dog Paddy

This place is insane! The quality of this food is beyond! After moving south of Manchester 3 years ago, I didn't think we would find anything up to the big city chef's, we were wrong - his place delivers on some beautiful flavours whilst still retaining that super quaint feels! There is also a lovely laid back vibe (we've brought our kids here on a late Saturday afternoon)

The food here is really nice, the selection of tapas available is good and the quality is high. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, depending on the size of your group you may wish to book ahead, it's cozy inside and it seems to be popular. The bar although small, is fairly well equipped with a good selection of drinks. There is an outdoor seating area to the rear. I'd recommend it and will be returning.

Great little establishment. Staff are super. Great selection at drinks and food is top notch. Recommend you book though. Great place to treat your partner to a nice meal. Only downside is the toilet location.

A little gem tucked away in Macclesfield : the food is flavoursome, with a tapas-like menu which seems to change frequently and a real attention to detail. The atmosphere matches the food quality with dim lighting and a brilliant playlist. The service is also top notch, we've always had super friendly waitresses who are always ready to help and advise. All in all my favourite place for food and drinks in Macclesfield.

I rarely write reviews but wanted to make an exception for the fantastic meal we had last night at Soma - the food was awesome, the staff were lovely and the music was great too :-) the menu is quite "fusion" in its provenance but it so, so works - the food was executed to perfection. Hadn't eaten here before but will definitely be back. Top marks on every count.

Love the food here. Really chilled atmosphere, and regularly changing menu keeps things interesting. Have been many times and will continue to! Lovely people, lovely food, a lovely little restaurant and bar.

Lovely little cafe bar, located centrally close to the station and other bars and restaurants. Serving small plates and sides with a wide range of wines, beers and spirits. There is also a gorgeous outside space, which is very petit but perfect for me as I struggle to be in most venues inside. The staff were friendly and considerate and the food was delicious. We had the cod cheek and samphire, the teriyaki halloumi and spicy chips.... definitely a little gem

Used SOMA for a corporate dinner. Neil and the team were very accommodating dealt with all of our requests and dietary requirements. The service and food on the evening was exceptional and I would highly recommend.

What can I say about SOMA apart from its brilliant. The bar staff are so friendly they make you feel right at home. The atmosphere is excellent and no matter if you want a quiet place or a good chat this is the place to be. Ideally placed 300yds from the train station you can't beat it. The food is outstanding with Neil never failing to dissapoint. Sundays can get a bit busy as the breakfasts are awesome, but hey chill out and relax and enjoy the atmosphere. Neil, Soph, Ferg, Jo and Lyns will take excellent care of you. With ace regulars like Rob and Mike along with people who just pop in for one it's a great place to meet new people or meet up with old friends. A* recommended! Maybe see you there!
