We were reluctant to try this restaurant after reading so many negative reviews but eventually decided to give it a go. Very glad we did. The staff were very friendly, even offering to turn down the music for our autistic 6-year-old when they observed that he was wearing ear-defenders. As others have noted, you can "only" refill your plate 5 times. Realistically, though, if you're feeling the need to refill your plate more than that, you've got a problem! The range of food is adequate. Yes, only two Indian dishes and only two Chinese dishes. But, frankly, if you want a wider choice those kind of dishes, why not just go to an Indian or Chinese restaurant? The choice was good enough that we easily found something to please each of our fussy brood. The food was good quality, it was hot and the buffet containers were refilled regularly - we never had to wait for any of it.
So, in summary, a good restaurant with friendly, helpful staff, a good range of food which is good quality and kept topped-up, good value for money and a wonderful addition to the range of eating establishments in Mablethorpe. We will certainly be returning there the next time we visit the town, if they survive the damage caused by all the unfairly negative reviews.
Smart new restaurant with very pleasent friendly staff. The roast dinner I had was lovely and the price was reasonable. Deserts could maybe be slightly larger and maybe changed or a couple of more choices.
