Can't praise thus place enough. Food amazing. Staff so friendly and welcoming. Dog friendly. The cafe was decorated with loads of memorabilia. So much to look at and enjoy. We had the homemade bread and butter pudding, it was beautiful. Light and tasty with lots of custard. Wish I lived locally and could visit again. Keep up the good work.

My Dad goes for his lunch most Sundays. Kath and the team look after him a treat and always go the extra mile to look after him. He feels valued and respected. Really impressed and delighted and always enjoy meals with Dad when I visit. Such great service, food and ambience

Excellent food, and friendly staff good service. We booked a table but you don't have to. Lovely atmosphere like stepping back into the 1940s...great interesting memorabilia all around. We came away with home made chic&orange cake. What's not to like. Brilliant. Pic is cornbeef hash.. 👍

After a recommendation we decided to book in to sample their Sunday lunch and we were so glad we did! It's worth noting, that the roast dinner requires booking with at least 24 hours notice Firstly, the decor inside the teas rooms was a real treasure trove of memorabilia. So many things to look at wherever you looked. Whilst we were there for Sunday dinner, we had a good look at the menu, laid out 'ration book style'. Some great nostalgic items that we can't wait to come back and try! Our Roast beef Sunday dinner was beautiful and came with plenty of fresh vegetables, stuffing and Yorkshire puddings! The dinner was really filling, but we'd already 'eyed up' puddings so couldn't leave without them. One bread and butter pudding one syrup sponge pudding, both served with lashings of tasty custard. Compliments to the chef, Hope for a great meal. To drink there was a great selection of drinks of the time, including a selection of loose teas, Bovril and Ovaltine to name a few. The final shout out and 'nod' should be to the lovely 'boss lady', sorry I didn't take her name, but she also helped make the memorable experience. Thank you and we'll be back the next time we're in the area! Thank you!

Excellent themed tea room that's dog friendly and offering great value. Cafe is set in the 1940s so don't expect Starbucks, but you will get unique surroundings and a friendly welcome. We had two breakfasts meals - a full English, doorstep toast with egg/beans, coffee and tea (authentic loose leaf) for under £9.00. Always a destination when in Mablethorpe with our dog.

We found this little place last year 2021, it was a must to pay another visit, just had liver n bacon with mash, carrots n cabbage. Cooked to perfection. Its such a relaxed atmosphere, if you are looking for chips find a chip shop, they only serve good old fashioned home cooked food. The staff are soso very friendly and work bloody hard, hope this establishment stays around a very long time.
