Saltys - Mablethorpe - Photo album

It's getting harder to find catering establishments like this nowadays where you can walk in, declare that one of your party has a serious allergy and they actually bend over backwards to accommodate you. Most just shrug their shoulders with an "it's your problem" kind of attitude. The young lady wh
We ordered a haddock and a large fries to take out and eat at the beach. The portions were big enough to share between two adults. The fish was nicely battered and the chips were nice.
Waited 25 minutes for 2 fish and chips, not to busy, so seemed a long wait, it was worth it though, beautiful chunky cod, tasty chips and the lady who served me was very polite and friendly, apart from the long wait, it’s worth a visit.
Ordered the cod and chips. Fantastic quality of food. Fluffy chips, light batter and perfectly cooked chips Value for money excellent. When in the area again I will return to this establishment as I truly think the food and service was brilliant.
First visit to Saltys. Excellent food, best tasting chips ive had for a long time. Excellent value and large portions. Would definitely recommend and use again.
A bit of a wait, as everything is cooked freshly, but well worth it. We had mini cod, chips and peas, and we had enough to eat. The batter is crispy and golden, and delicious. We sat outside, but there is a restaurant to the side, and you can even order ahead, to avoid the queue. It's always very bu
Well worth a visit. The Haddock was meaty with large flakes; the chips tasted like how you used to have them years ago; and the gravy was flavoursome. Overall it was like going back in time, to the good old days of Fish and chips when you were a kid.
Sublime! The place was packed when we went, I can see why! My husband had steak pie & chips & I had the fish & chips you see in the photo, absolutely delicious & a decent portion. The only problem I had was the seats were back to back & very close once people were sitting in them - two large ladies
Quality fish, chicken, chips, pineapple rings peas, beans and curry sauce and a decent cup of tea. And that's just the stuff I tried in the past two weeks but not all in one sitting 🙃 and the staff were friendly. Highly recommended
This place is a must go, the only place we go for fish and chips everytime we are in Mablethorpe. The staff are great and the prices are really good. Highly recommended.
Called in on an early Monday evening at the end of January, the food was as fresh & tasty as ever. We return to Mablethorpe in a few days time & one of our first meal stops will again be Salty’s. Probably the best Fish & Chips in the area.
Always hot and freshly cooked..excellent portions for the hungry bellies and reasonable pricing… lots of choice for those wanting something different and you can pre-order to collect. Seating inside and outside for waiting or eating Al fresco.
Thought the price was very reasonable and the portions where decent. You get a ticket and the call you when your oder is up. Came back a coupe of days later and food was just as good. Mini fish was great.
Lovely sized portions. Fish had light crispy batter, and too many chips for me, I'm a lighter eater. Photos. One with curry sauce is normal size and one with mushy peas is a small portion.
Instantly I was taken to another world. There was a wait for my mini fish and chips but oh my word was it worth it. The fresh flavour of the cod stood out but before this registered with my taste buds the light crispy batter gave me pause for thought. Like a fresh packet of skips only textured witho
Best fish and chips in Mablethorpe and to be honest within a 20 miles radius!
