I thoroughly enjoyed the fish and chips dinner we had from "chippy". The family run business is friendly and food is consistent. Also has a good range of Chinese food available. I would recommend it to visitors and locals alike.
I particularly like the curry sauce and bubble tea.
We called in for fish and chips to take home for dinner after a long day out. There is plenty of choice on the menu and the fish was well cooked, with thin crisp batter. The chips were fine and the portions were plentiful.
This was our first visit and we'll be back!
Absolutely fantastic chip shop I was served by a very friendly young lady ! The chips are the best iv had in years red hot and Crisp fantastic

Very nice food, the fish batter was light and not soggy. Delicious chips. The place is spotless. Have eaten there twice now and on the agenda for tomorrow “Fish Friday”. Highly recommended.
Favourite fish and chips ever - every single chip perfect, fish batter excellent. Staff fab even brought out a table and chairs for us as the sun came out
Great fish and chips, the Chinese food is very good as well. The staff are friendly and efficient and the food prices are reasonable. There is a great selection on the takeaway menu. Plenty of free parking outside on the road.

Good crisp chips with colour, foah was ok but not sure it was a fresh as it could be still would go again.
Great all round chippy and Chinese takeaway, food always hot/fresh, friendly staff and very clean. Its cash only but there is cash machines at post office and co op nearby. Battered chicken balls best ever tasted 😊

The fish and sausages are always nicely battered. Good Covid-19 precautions. I usually order by phone and collect 10 minutes later.
