What a fantastic family pub restaurant! Went with 3 adults and 2 children, all our meals were just the right portions, absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. Best dirty fries I've had in a while, the tandoori flatbread was huge and perfectly spiced, kids meals did not contain cheap sausages
Well hosts gavin and claudia were lovely..food was really nice..cakes to die for..staff were polite and proffesional..also the place has had a refurb..new tables..chairs..flooring..kitchen..overall..this pub is certainly worth a visit..even just for a drink..or carvery..we ate from the menu..6 of us
Came here today for my daughters birthday (not a party just went in for a meal, she really wanted a carvery) food was absolutely amazing and the service even better! Staff overheard it was her birthday and gifted us a huge slice of cake and an ice cream for our other daughter and sang happy birthday
We had a lovely meal and felt very comfortable here, 4 adults that had starters, mains and separate pudding from the cake counter. Staff are lovely and we felt very catered too. The restaurant is child friendly and very cosy. Highly recommend!!
Booked Sunday 5pm, ordered a large carvery, bit tight with the meat portions but tasted good, not a great variety of veg left and very under seasoned, ordered sticky toffee pudding for dessert, went past wanting it, had to ask to chase it up, would still go again.
Called in whilst passing through. Although we didn't have curry, Thursday night was a good value Curry night. We ate three small plates, and the lasagne, that were adequate and good value. They had a good cake selection and impressive carvery, the service was prompt and friendly and we'd definitely
Cannot fault the meal at all. Six of us ate and the food was spot on. I was asked if I wanted any additional sauces and asked for BBQ sauce, which I was told I would need to order (and pay at the till). The meal itself cost almost £80 - the sauces I could have had were tomota / mayonnaise.
Nice place for Sunday lunch. The menu has changed since I last went (for the better), and they do a nice Sunday roast, although the volume of meat is a little mean. My meal came very quickly which indicates microwave, but it tasted nice. The soups used to be very good (they ran out at 2:30 Sunday af
Excellent food and pub. Chef is a good laugh whilst cutting the meat for calvery. Normal menu is also good choice. Price is modest. Would recommend to book in a Sunday.
Sunday dinner with the family, little busy when we first arrived but quieter later. Attentive and friendly staff. Good food and brewery's own ales. Enjoyable time was had.
Visited for the carvery. Choice of ham, turkey and beef. Can have a combination. Yorkshire pudding and stuffing balls are given with the meat. Help yourself to potatoes, veg and gravy. Loads of choice of veg with both roast and mash potatoes. Opted for medium size and was very full at the end. Good
Beautiful dinning experience inside and outside excellent choice of food, pizzas, carvery and good choice of pub classics all at reasonable price's. Good atmosphere and service by friendly staff. My first visit ..definitely not the last. Highly recommended 👌
Had a 40th birthday meal to go to I was in my motorhome. I rang before and asked if I could park over night and it was yes no problem. Good food, lovely staff . I even stayed for breakfast the next morning. Well done and thank you.
Great food and not overly expensive. Landlord welcoming. Didn't feel hemmed in like other eateries. Great service with a smile
