Great place for a lunch on a sunny day outside,or inside if it's cooler. Staff are helpful and friendly although it is a busy place and attracts all generations depending on the day of the week and time. There is plenty of choice on the menu and the children's menu is good quality food too. The café is licensed and serves a variety of hot and cold drinks. There is plenty of seating inside and out and a takeaway hatch for ice creams. Location is next to the beach and car park at the end of the promenade. Definitely worth a visit.

Stopped for lunch with a family of 4. Despite the poor weather outside, the cafe was busy. The food was good for everything we ordered despite it still being peak lunch hours. Nice location near the beach and the outside seating would have been very pleasant if the weather has remembered it was summer too.

I was here with a friend yesterday, the first time for me, not for my friend. We both had fish and chips. Only haddock on the menu, that didn't matter though absolutely delicious. Really crispy batter. There is access via a ramp as well as steps, there are toilets on the premises. There is an outside seating area as well, the staff are all very attentive. There is also carparking at the side of the café. Somewhere I can definitely recommend.

Fabulous place. Great varied menu - can recommend the ginger pudding & custard. A must visit place if you are ever nearby. All food coming from kitchens looked great. Lovely staff - pleasant & efficient. 5 stars.

Great breakfast, Manx kippers and toast grilled to perfection, Pam had smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. The only downfall is the coffee, but we'll with a visit

Lovely little place to visit for a bit to eat or a tea and coffee. Good selection of food from cold to hot dishes served. Clean & well maintained, with ample parking, seating & toilets. Ice cream served through the little side window or inside in the cafe. Seating inside and outside is ideal on a warm day and great when caught out in the rain. Note: the parking in the designated spots for the cafe are free, some of the parking in the car park is pay as you go at the machine.

Overall it's a great cafe. But it's just a bit second place in almost everything. Food was great, but not fantastic, good menu, but not amazing. Seating and cleanliness was great, but not super. (Scenery was fantastic). Prices not bad, but not brilliant either. Staff, two were great, 3 were just awful. Incredibly fast service, too fast suggesting microwaved meals. Lots of inconsiderate walkers dragging mud and sand inside, thinking they own the place, acting very selfishly. Building outside looks good but needs some TLC. Very busy place. Recommended it if your nearby.

Food is decent, pretty much what one would expect at a beach side café. Service is friendly, lacks urgency but part n parcel of the charm in someways. However, the toilets are consistently like a dystopian nightmare. For an establishment that serves food and drink it really needs to step up it's facilities, 30 seconds is about as much as one can tolerate in that environment - and there's no way you wanna sit on the pan...

Called in for late lunch, soups were very nice. Ginger sponge was lovely, easily enough for 2 people to share. Quite busy for a very windy cool day.

Nice beach café just behind the sand dunes. Loads of outside tables- it can be breezy - where dogs (like mine) can accompany owners. Watch out for the cheeky birds which fly onto tables if you don’t reproach them! Great food and drinks. Ice cream as well, even dog ice cream! We had Penang Curry (very tasty said my wife) and Veg Chilli (maybe a tad bland I thought but a nice pint of Italian beer rescued it 😉 ) We regularly visit here on fine days.

Pleasant spot for a break. Clean. Nice staff. A short walk to the beach or into st Anne's. The only down side is once lunch hits the noise level is high. Making it difficult to hear your friend talk. Other than this there are some tables outside. Clean toilets.

Lovely little cafe in a brilliant location, both inside and outdoor seating. The food is nice and there is lots to choose from. The outdoor counter is great too so you can buy ice creams and head down to the beach afterwards.

We had a lovely breakfast here looking out over the beach. Staff friendly, service good and food nice. Poached eggs were runny in the middle, always a winner!!

Superb place for breakfast and afternoon cakes, ice-cream and coffees. The staff were brilliant and the breakfast excellent with lots of choice and all freshly prepared. We were there during school term time so it was relatively quiet. Highly recommended!

Ordered a crispy chicken burger and chips, the chips are amazing, crispy, really chunky, good portion. The chicken on the burger looks a little small but that's because the bun was so massive, was very nice though. There was a 30 minute wait on food, because it was so popular, but it was well worth waiting for, unlike some unhappy customer who stormed out in a huff, deliberately spilling their drink, despite being offered a full refund and their food for free, they definitely missed out. I thought the staff couldn't have handled that situation any better, and that customer needs a reality check, everywhere is under staffed, people need to be more understanding of the impact of Brexit on the workforce (yes that is the real reason for staff shortages, not covid).

Some of the best food we've ever had from a cafe! Great service and an exceptionally clean place. Will make a detour just to call in here!

My only reason for not giving 5 stars. The white small cups they serve tea . Are old fashioned. Dated. Really lets you down.
