A nice restaurant situated just off the main street in Lytham. So lovely sitting outside in the sunshine under a canopy with glass screens protecting you from the street. Nice enough food but my partner commented that their Prawn Linguini was a little bland but loved the garlic mushrooms. My goats cheese starter with caramelised onions and beetroot chutney would have been better on a more robust bread ie. Sourdough rather than brioche as it had turned completely into a soggy mush. The courgette & sweetcorn fritters with carrot, raisin & orange salad with red pepper tapenade and pickled coriander was OK, but unfortunately nothing special, I think it just lacked abit of umph perhaps it needed to be a little more spicy for my taste but I'm sure it suits alot of people's taste.
We ate off the lunchtime Prix Fixe menu which costs £17.95 for 2 courses or £21.95 for 3 and is available Mon - Sat upto 5.30pm.
I'd recommend going for Wednesday tapas night so you can have a variety of dishes to share. There's a great selection on the menu and they're reasonably priced but some of the things we ordered lacked flavour unfortunately. We also found the service incredibly slow (waited 25min to take our order and another 25 min to take our dessert order) and we were in a corner so we were often passed by and ignored by the staff even though it wasn't full.
Great looking Mediterranean Restaurant. Spacious with good decor. Wonderful service by the staff and food is quality. Will be back soon.
Been wanting to try this place for ages, finally got round to it and wasn't disappointed!
Nice traditional breads, oils and olives to start, and then the vegan sweetcorn fritters which came with a delicious salad and tapenade.
The wine list was labelled to show the vegan wines too which is always a great sign!
It was a really busy evening with Lytham festival going on, but the service was excellent regardless - can't wait to go back!
Always good quality food at a very reasonable price with quick and friendly service, handy when you have to get back to work at lunchtime. Varied menu, can go for a cheaper lunchtime menu or a full dinner menu, with excellent choice. Can use their website to get the occasional discounts as well.

Nice all rounder, faster & efficient services, lovely food, great dishes , great value for money. Staff very welcoming and polite, great menu, Open planned kitchen pass, so you can see all the action of the chefs, well dressed and professional. Highly recommend.
Super last minute lunch, not been in before but so glad we didn’t just pass by. Menu is varied and choice of 2 course lunch at set price which we took advantage of. Food delicious,
Very busy place with a decent atmosphere. We were there for a fathers day treat but on the Monday evening and asked for a quiet table in the booking process but ended up in the busiest area next to the kitchen and serving area. The waiters were pleasant enough but were clearly very busy. The food was OK despite numerous mistakes with peoples orders and the bill was bigger than expected for the type of restaurant. Overall a pleasant evening but unlikely to return due to the lack of customer service.
We've been here numerous times as it's consistently very good...tonight was pan fried salmon cooked to perfection and my wife had a mixed kebab for the first time ,and loved it...but over the last 12 months it's been a pleasure to dine here(only one overdone/burnt chicken kebab has been the only blemish, and there was a bill reduction for that) the creme brule needs a mention as it's sublime.
The staff are always pleasant and smiling and the prices are reasonable, happy to recommend
Ego has never let us down. With more and more competition opening up - all of which we've tried - and some we use regularly; it's telling that when we want to book somewhere for a special occasion, we always choose Ego, because we have absolute confidence in them. The food is always good, and the service is friendly and attentive, without being intrusive.
What can I say. This is gast becoming a favourite dining spot for us. I am new to the area and chose this restaurant at the request of my partner. Wow, what a meal kebab cooked to perfection. Friendly staff. Quick service great eating outside. I would recommend this place every time.
Had lovely valentine meal plenty to choose from nice touch having the jug of water on table
Car park free after 6pm
Lovely place and atmosphere. Service is attentive but not in your face. Moroccan dish wasn't good enough but they apologised, so all is well. Rhubarb and Gin crumble is really good.
Overall a very pleasant lunch.
Start with a grumble... 2 glasses (not pint glasses) of lemonade, £5.30. Naughty.
We were a large and quite loud party (didn't know my colleagues could be so sweary after a couple of wines). We were to arrive at 6.45 but 2 of the party landing around 7.30. This wasn't a problem and we never felt rushed. The staff were great and the food most enjoyable. I'm coming back for the morrocan lamb!
4 mains.
3 no complaints whatsoever. Lovely food.
The fourth dish was a Moroccan lamb dish.Great presentation and taste.Need more lamb in the dish in our opinion.
