The portions were huge; fish and chips were amazing – perfectly cooked, and such good value. It’s fair to say that I ate far too much but it was way too tasty to leave any.

And if fish and chips isn’t your thing, there are lots more offerings: from 100% Aberdeen Angus beef burgers and (proper Lancashire) meat pies to pizzas and jacket potatoes.

Called in here and awarded 4 stars because it was freshly cooked, piping hot, the staff were friendly and efficient, and I'm sure most people will love it. Everyone likes different things, so some will find it great. For my own taste, I had a couple of reservations, but it's a personal thing. The first thing was the thickness of the chips. They certainly were not the thin fries that sometimes get called chips, and they were a regular size some people will like. Personally, I prefer more 'chunky' sized chips, not least because you get more chips and fewer scraps. The second thing were the peas. There was nothing wrong with the peas themselves, but they were served in a separate dish as seems to have become the 'norm' during the last ten years or so. Personally, if I'm having peas, I like them on my plate. If they come in a separate dish, the first thing I do is tip them out onto my plate. I saw a TV chef recently say peas and beans are served in separate dishes these days so customers can dip their chips or bread into them. Personally, I've never had any problem dipping chips into them when they are on the plate. Like I said, it's a personal taste. Many will love things just the way they were served.

Simply outstanding food, so good that we returned to see if it was as good a 2nd time. The answer was a resounding yes, all the staff were most helpful & answered any queries. The prices are very good too, we will be visting again when we return the Lytham St Annes again. We had the XL Meal which was Fish, Chips, Peas, Bread & butter with a pot of tea. My Mrs loved her desert too

We have visited before and I'm delighted to say that it's still as good as ever. Delicious freshly cooked fish with mushy peas, chips, bread and butter. All at an excellent price and friendly cheerful service. Looking forward to the next visit.😋😄

Have visited before but some restrictions were still in place due to COVID. Enjoyed our meal then but left no review. But we did said we would try again someday. You can park very close by. There is an M&S store with a small car park just down from Seafarers. Probably struggle to get a space at certain times but we were there on a Thursday at around five o'clock. First hour is free but two hours is £2.00. Carol, our waitress noticed I was struggling a bit to get comfy at the table we had first been directed to so sorted us out with a more accessible one. There are also tables and chairs outside should you wish to dine in the sunshine We ordered one regular special, £10.95, and one extra large special, £12.95. That's fish, chips, slice of bread and butter and a drink. Tea, coffee or a can of pop. You also get mushy peas but we were offered the option to change this to beans, curry sauce or gravy. We stuck with the peas. As you can see from the picture the extra large is a large fish. It was freshly cooked and I really enjoyed it. One of the best fried fish I have had in a long time. Chips also very good but a small criticism is that there were a lot of scraps in it. The peas were really tasty as well. You can certainly tell the difference getting fish and chips in a proper chippy rather than as a pub meal. Service was friendly. We were asked if we wanted dessert but we were both full from our special. Would recommend and will use again if visiting St Anne's.

Much nicer fish and chips than anywhere we have ever tried in Blackpool. Worth the trip out to St Annes. The young lady who served us was so polite and really efficient at her job. Shame I didn't catch her name for a personal mention. Marked atmosphere as a 4 as it was a little tight for space inside and felt quite close to another family, but can't fault otherwise. We would return.

We have been visiting here now for over 6 years. We try to travel here every weekend on a Sunday or every other weekend. The staff are absolutely brilliant. Annette has bonded with our daughter some what and they adore each other. Always super friendly staff. Never had a bad experience, meal or time there! The 70 mile trip is worth it every time. Dine in every time, hot fresh food or cold choices. Staff deserve a huge credit!! 👏

We have visited Seafarers many times. Good food and large portions, reasonably priced with pleasant attentive staff. There's a takeaway and restaurant both offer quick service.

What a fantastic place. We invaded there prior to my dad's wedding and packed out the place. They even stayed open late to accommodate us all. Great menu and generous portions. My extra large cod and chips was served on a tasty it was so big!

Food here is very good. Plenty of choice and friendly table staff. The only downside is the owner, who sits in the restaurant and monitors everything and everybody. I find him rather intimidating and off-putting.

Wow. If you want fish and chips in St annes, this is the place. Stop looking. Great staff, beautiful food. Everything we was looking for No parking, but m&s next door offers parking. It's not far walk from the beach car park to be honest

I can highly recommend the restaurant. The food was excellent. Chops crispy not greasy fish batter nice and thin. Peas mushy. I had a steak pudding which was absolutely gorgeous & the gravy was lovely too. We ordered a bottle of red wine to wash it all down. As we arrived at 4 the restaurant was quiet but picked up when we left. The service was excellent. We will definitely be back!

The food is very nice but the staff are horrors, there was a party of 30 coming in who where about 20 minds early so the staff wanted us out of there so they started staring, saying things between themselves looking at us while we where eating making it a very uncomfortable experience... would never go again if steer clear
