It was a lovely experience here. The room was very modern and clean while the pub below offered great food, drink and service. There's also on-site parking.
You must visit. A warm and welcoming atmosphere. Bar staff super efficient, excellent beer and wine choice.
Dinner menu was spot on and cooked as requested.
Room was comfortable and modern.
Bramble and Ruby, saloon customer's dogs 🐕 were entertaining and well behaved. Excellent and enjoyable stay.
We stayed locally for a few days, on two evenings running we had our evening meal at the pub.
The service was fast, polite and even though one evening we were close to closing time the staff patiently waited until we had made our choice and finished our meals.

I booked here on the strength of the reviews and I wasn't disappointed. The rooms are fresh, clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful and the food is top notch (beat breakfast I've had in a long while) would highly recommend and definitely stay here again.
We got caught short and needed food one evening. Popped in. The landlord could not have been more friendly and sorted is out with a meal despite the kitchen closing early. Great stop off for a pint. Looked like some good veggie options during normal hours as well.
What a wonderful find! Spotless and amazingly quiet room, friendly hosts and excellent food ( including the best coffee!) The communal fridge on the landing with fresh milk, extra bottles of water etc is a thoughtful touch. A delightful stay which we hope to repeat.
Just had a super meal here, whitebait and prawn cocktail were delicious, we also had fantastic main course of braised lamb with mash (I had roasties), great veg, unfortunately we were unable to have dessert as we were stuffed. Booked for six humans and one dog. The food was superb and all six cleared their plates. Would I book again? Yes as we are booked in for later in the week 😁
